I have got PS2s on my Subaru & they are light years ahead of anything else I have tried. (Toyos, Yokos etc) Grip in dry & wet is excellent. The 182, well I am going to stick with the exaltos as the do the job as well.
Just spoke with the local garage that I use for oil changes etc & he has quoted me 1.5hrs (£60 +vat) + parts. Oil, filters I will get so I recon £100 ish all in:D. Renault can stick it up there over priced arses. I will prob do at 12 months anyway, belt & braces then!
I know that this has been done to the death but;
Just spoke to Camden Renualt in MK (btw, anyone had good/bad experience of them?) and service has been quoted as 12k or 2 years (as per the Renault maint service book) Others say 12k/1yr but they insist 2yrs which suits me as the car is 12months...
All cars loose the most when driven off the forcourt tbh. If you paid 13k (better than the 15k list price) you have paid VAT of 2k + new car tax. You never get this back. With Renault doing new 182 full fats for around 12k that has not helped as well. I paid just over 10k for a 1 owner 4k car in...
The service intervals being quoted by Reno are all over the place.
I have been told 12k/12M, 12k/18M, 18k/18M, 18K/24M!!! Even the Reno people on the Renosport site have said 2 different things (12k/12M & 12k/18M) FFS, cant they get their act together. My local dealer says 12k/18M & this would...
Just call round a few dealers, Renault Cardiff offered me a full fat 182 c/w both cup packs for 12k. I am sure that 1 will bite. The other option is to buy 1 1 owner nearly new car. Loads on here at 10-10.5 ish K.
cheers Simon
you could do what I did & buy a 2nd hand wheeel. I put a new tyre on it so when I come to change tyres I will use this along with an other new one & keep the best worn one as the spare. It sits nicely in the boot under the cargo net as well.
A lot better than the foam & if I do get a puncture...
u should be able to get a uk cup packed full fat 182 for 12k. Id rather have that over an import. Alternatively, what about a 2nd hand 182, loads on here for 10-10.5k. The trophy is spot on but is it worth the extra £££s?
Thinking of having the windows tinted but would like to see what it would look like ideally on a racing blue car. Anyone got any pics?
I have tints on my other car but I am not sure how it will look on a smaller vehicle
cheers Simon
the other option is screw renault down on price then ask for their interst free option if they are still doing it. 35% down so put the rest in the bank & draw from it each month 2 meet the payment. You will prob want 2 change the car b4 your funds in the bank run out. The less u put in to a car...
Clart, u pmd the ones that have said they will have 1 but have not yet paid? I only stumbled across this yesterday as I had forgot that I had put my name down for 1.
haggle the price on the tyre m8. My local kwikfit did me 1 for £88 inclusive. Also, make sure that they check the rim for damage b4 they swap the tyres. That way if any caused they are responsible.
Re the tyre weld, it will inflate the tyre but once used the tyre is useless and it makes a...
Thats why I asked. If you want to pay, ill get my car over there as a donor car:). A friend has had his cooper s done there & is v.impressed but I dont know anyone who has a BBR 182??
The only other way is seeing if they do a sale / return like Superchips do ie if it does not do what it says...
