Do any of you with 180bhp live near Chesterfield (i know quite a few are from there). Id be interested to have a look sometime and listern to the exhaust as im not sure i wouldnt get sick of it quite quickly.
Stu.
Are there any exhausts avaliable that remain hidden behind the bumper like the standard one? Im really not keen on exhausts sticking out under the bumper when there is no cut-out.

Mk2 172s hardly torque steer at all, what you are referring is tramlining i.e. the wheels are following the ruts and contours of the road. This can be quite pronounced on really rough roads under hard acceleration but its not a major problem.
I, like you had a 106 (mk2 Rallye) before my Clio...
How much did it cost in total then for the exhaust, viper and remap work?
And if you can, without your i will notice a difference heads on, is there definately a noticable improvement in performance?

Genuinley cheap thanks!
I might pop down to a scrappy then and see what theyve got.
Wouldnt mind 15"s for the track though, for some slidey LOO fun.

Where would I be able to get some cheap track day wheels from for my mk2 172? Do the wheels off the old shape clios (16v shape) fit? If so would the wheels of the old cup cars fit? What size are they 15"?
Thanks,
Stu.

Let us know what you think of the Clio around Donnington. Im going there on the 15th of Feb with the Evo forum. It will be my first trackday so id be interested of your opinions of it.

Ive found the Continentals to be great (though they are wearing very fast), they may not be the last word in grip (i dont want them to be), but are very progressive near the limit and are very forgiving. I think ill replace them with the same.
How many miles are people getting out of a set...
