    Virgin Media folks, HD news

Quick question, do you know if you are able to connect the box with component leads or does it HAVE to be HDMI. Our HD ready TV is one of the first ones and doesn't have any HDMI leads, we will be getting a new tv, but not yet and wanted to get V+ HD asap.

    Virgin Media folks, HD news

How are you guys finding the Virgin HD service, i am looking at upgrading and it seems as I am already on the XL package I only need to pay £100 to get the new box installed and there is no extra monthly charge. Can anyone confirm if this has been the case for them?

This one does sound good, although reviews state it is slow.

Bluray player - which one out of these 2

Mmmm. I think I am moving towards the LG one for £140 and using the difference between that and the Sony one to upgrade to Virgin + HD (which I am led to believe would only cost us an extra one off payment of £100 at the moment.) I do need to check the details though. If not I'll spend the extra...

Bluray player - which one out of these 2

Hi, Been given the money for a Bluray player for a wedding gift and looking at getting it now. We have seen 2 that look good and are struggling to choose between them. The choices are the Sony BDPS550 and the LG BD370. Both seem to have good ratings on Reevoo and the LG seems a bargain at...

Audi style LED headlights now available for the clio

I actually think they do look more aggressive and are a good alternative to what was available, IMO the OEM lights on the ph1 are arse hence why I replaced them with Angle eyes..

    Hello from Bournemouth -182

It is by far the best thing to do to them, they look nice cars, but the H badge does ruin it!! At least the coil packs last for ages - unlike the single coils the ph2 mk1's had!! I spent over £100 on 3 occassions replacing 3, then learnt how to change them and have spent £30 twice replacing 2...

Anyone with a PC polisher able to do me a huge favour

cheers, will try again, it has ruined the car I was using, the card was just getting ripped by the glue as completely frayed. I will have to give the WD40 a try! if not then I guess I will have to sand down.

Anyone with a PC polisher able to do me a huge favour

Just tried it and it made no difference what so ever. I bought the AG intensive tar remover and left it to soak for 30 mins and then tried scrapping, but it was as before and not moving. Any other idea's on how to get it off. My other halfs dad wants to try acetone on it tomorrow if not or...

I no longer have the clio and now have a hyundai coupe (Tuscani Elisa) I have bought a set of the Tuscani badges to swap over, but they are a bit too narrow. I've taking the old Huyndai one off the bonnet and removed as much of the adhesive as possible. Unfortunately is looks like someone has...

nikon d40 vs sony alpha A200

I purchased the A200 at the weekend and it was a choice between that and the D60. I chose the A200 because you can pick up the Minolta lenses cheaply and the spec was very good for the money (£259) in the Argos sale. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0470379154/?tag=cliospnet01-21 I would advise...

A few pics around the house/garden

Yeah the silver one nearest Tammys head is part of a linked ring system connected to the mains, the other one is a solar quad led, the black thing next to it is the solar panel. It is not normally where it currently is, I moved it during the early spring to get the most of the light that gets in...

A few pics around the house/garden

I borrowed my Dad's Fuji S8000fd and took a few pics around the house. They are by no means perfect, but I really like these out of the 150 or so I took. I bought the Sony A200 today, so I look forward to taking better pics with that. You can't really tell in...
