what a mare. Good job you saw where the screw dropped and didn't just think it dropped into your engine bay, put the spark plug back in and start your engine. oops that would have sounded rough, for about 5 seconds (bang clatter, clatter, pooof)! Bet your heart sank when it went in the hole...
. All very neash! Personally I don't like the colour. Could have picked something outstanding which that blue ceratinly is not and the as someone said in earlier thread, the state of the interior is the worst i've ever seen. yuck makes me come over all O.C.D.
Doesn't part of the rs tuner remap allow the car to rev higher before the limitter comes in/ change gear light comes on? Surely it is shift light or it would be red (as in danger) not green. I'm sure I read in Renaults bumf that it is a shift light. Anyway engine can't go bang as the limiter...
yeah think your right but it gets into any blemishes in your paintwork and causes rust as it has salt in it. Also causes streaks and removes your wax polish etc. It's simply too harsh for your car.
i had this dilemma and eventually went for sportlines. They lower it just a little bit more that the cup and proline springs but hardly much at all. they relly make a difference in the handling. The prolines are supposed to be the better performance to the sportline but don't look quite as good...
No, No .no no no no no. think you get the point. It's hazardous to the paintwork. It's acidic and eats it's way in gradually. Obviously not if you used it just once but using it for the wheels is just fine but then there are other better products for that too.
i was down at k-tec last wednesday and they had done a stock check and told me they found a couple of sets of sportlines. I managed to get some from demon tweaks after threatening to cancel my order as they also said they had none in stock until the end of September (suddenly they found some)...
looked like a laugh but most of those girls looked rough as. Think one just passed the mark. Agree with the others, no gritty scrubbers anywhere near my car! or the the yellow sponges! ;)
Your only too old when you want to drive slow in it! In other words require a car for a different purpose other than fun. I'm 35 and got a 3 year old and another on the way. Missus has the sensible Audi A4, so I'm keeping the clio 182 wihich I've just let K-tec play with. A guy at the begining...
Does anyone know what the control is/ does that's just to the right of the ignition keys next to the dash light dimmers in this picture? just curious a my 182 doesn't have this?
No luck in it! Should he feel lucky they didn't set light to his car? Or push it off the nearest cliff. It's sh*t and that's that. Gutted for you mate!
Has anyone tried spraying the glove box catch/handle to match the dash strips? Any pics? Can you get the glove box lid off by drilling out the rivets on the underside?
unfortunately stripping it isn't an option as have a three year old daughter (who loves car already), that has to ride in it on occasions.Like I said SUBTLE was the word.
Looking for some ideas for subtle interior mods. Was thinking about spraying the glove box catch silver to match the dash inserts. Does anybody know how to get the catch or the glove box door out the car ( don't want to spray inside car obviously). Got a foot rest plate on order, can't wait to...
yeah, it's clear looking at this site that they store up all emails on different subjects and when there's one subject that enough people have complained about they investigate. Def let's all do it!
mate, gutted for ya. People need to get a life. I had my 182 scratched 3 weeks after buying it brand new at the end of 2005 and a week after that someone broke in to the car the day before christmas using a screw driver on the passenger window. They slipped the screwdriver down the 'A' frame bit...
I had my Aux belts changed by a Renault dealership last year at 36k. When I picked it up, there was a whinning noise from the engine (belt area). I thought this must be normal but in hind sight obviously it wasn't as it didn't do it before. Can any one advise, could this be because of an over...
Why doesn't someone contact BBC's Watch Dog for some real weight behind this problem? Howmany thousands of other people must be affected by this that aren't in ClioSport? Shouldalso join forces with other clubs too!
ican see it's a bit pants but to be honest when i was 17/18/19, what I did to my cars was unforgivable. 1.1l mkII fiesta with blacked out windows a black splat on right rear wing and a fido-dido (the 7up lemonade character for those that are too young to remember) on the other. oh and xr2...
