Aren't you guys over looking a big problem with just using velcro to stick your plates on?! I do agree that it looks better ( no arguements there), however there is a massive wave of number plate steeling going on to do petrol payment jumps and to do robbery crimes and speed through enforcement...
switch it on?
only joking. Haveyou gone to the 'configure' bit in one of the menus see how many sats it is seeing? It needs to see a minimum of 4 sats at once to work.
Try resetting it with a paper pin in the whole at the botton. You will have to have the sat nav powered from the mains or car...
It might simply be that the head units output stage is faulty but yes start with the ipod as said. You can't have too much power going to the speakers. Lots of power usually means a good clean sound unless your really over driving them. If the speakers rating is too high for the head unit then...
With any sound system at home or in the car each and every component (source, amplification and speaker) all play an important part of a circuit. If there is any one let down the whole system can sound bad.
You should start at the begining,
1. The source- i pods are great for what they are...
mine does this too. It's how they are. I spent a day curing various rattles from the dash and it worked for a while. They are all back now.

well.. yeah that's what I thought but doing a search on here i found a couple of people saying that it occured after using it. I've never used Tesco fuel before and now it's come on? Will the light just go off on it's own? I disconnected the battery for 20 about an hour. switched on the ignition...
Last month I had K-tec fit one of their ultimate sports cat and exhaust systems. At the time of fitting (probably because it was disturbed) the lambda sensor needed replacement. They had a second hand one and light went out. All good until today. Don't know if this is a coinsidence but after I...
it's been a while since the mk iii shape's been out and I still don't like it. The 200 looks even worse because of the front end. Yes the brakes look cool and the wide looking back is good but the whole shape of the car just doesn't flow like the mk ii. I know it comes down to personal taste at...
Try a search on proline, sportline springs and there is loads of discussions on here. They certainly seem the most popular.

Difficult to be sure without seeing them but they will have been under more stress, I guess. Does the car continue to bounce for a while if you press down on the wing and release? or can you see wet arround shock where they are leaking? If not sure get a garage mechanic to check them out!
17...
I've only heard bad things about the Apex. I was in the same position as you and after lots of research and advise I bought Eibach 'sportline' springs. They are the perfect mod. Not too low but arches will sit about an inch above the wheels. Ride is comfortable as they are progressive, which...
I noticed a few of you have the 3/4 size front number plates and think they look good. Are they road legal or just for shows? As I understand, the font is still road legal height, it's just the surround that's reduced?
Cheers.
"mmmm where you sayin something? just tell me your not going to be studying English at uni!?
we'll stick to our cheap but fantastic to drive "Reanults" and you should slip away to uni and learn to grow up and get some taste! (oh and spell).:nono:
Does anyone know, are the smaller number plates but with the full size lettering that are on the first pic of the arctic blue sport, road legal? if so where can you get them?
isn't the cup version without abs 1 level higher insurance group? Or have I just made this up. I think the ABS is a handy thing for a car this powerful. You can steer in an emergency braking situation and it does shorten you stopping distance too. I braked quite hard the other day as I went...
they say sportline for show, proline for go. I've got the sportlines and i have to say i'm not disappointed. They look perfect imo and handle better than the cup springs set up i had on. Still some comfort. Just right without going silly.
panel filter all the way. better at doing the job. Unless you have a turbo iirc you can get power losses with induction kits. Also they tend to be more expensive.
We know your suspension is "not broke" (broken). It's a joke suggesting that it is waaaaaay to low and looks stupid! Do you honestly not think the side skirts look just what they are? add on bits not very well designed. Even my 3 year old daughter laughed saying " daddy, daddy look at that silly...
:dapprove: Disapprove, shocked, :( unhappy, evil (not in the cool sense),:boring: boring, :dead: brain of the conceptual idea of this car, dead, :D makes me smile that someone can own such an abortion! You must feel soo proud when driving it arround. Do you drive with the window down...
