Hi all, My car is currently off the road so some major work is going to be going down on it soon. It currently stands as a 1.2 8v. But im going to be doing a engine conversion in time.
So I want to upgrade the brakes, after some consideration i'm going to leave drums on the back as the costs...
if your wanting to do it through the stalk you will need to change that and buy the loom for the fogs, this would also require additional wiring to put n place. your best off making your own circuit to save bucks. The wiring wont be in place already.
mine still connects and downloads fine. Make sure the nzb your downloading isnt older than around 35days as their retention time doesnt go much longer.
http://www.justfreevpn.com/ the password changes daily so all you have to do is check back on website and update pass on connection. Completly free and accomodates for my 25mb connection
yeah agreed with it been the idle control valve, there easy to change, just find your throttle body, it will located on itself. Make a note of the model number and order a replacement, check out eurocarparts. Should be 2/3 torx screws holding it in place, for ease remove the throttle body.
once you have bought them, you will just need a positive and negative for each fog, join then together in a switch circuit and wired straight onto the battery. place the switch where you want in the car. use the rubber gromit behind the engine bay to feed your wires through.
I'd watch where that clamp is joining the center section to the cat. The lamba sensor wiring fray's easily, mine did the same where it hung and it was pulling on wire.
If you push down on the tail pipe you should notice it straighten out. I'd replace the mounts they look shagged.
I know this is a drag up from the past but im thinking of doing exactly the same. But just wondering about the rear? Does anything need to be changed there? Like are the bolts different sizes to be bolted into the rear axel?
Im thinking of doing a conversion from my 1.2 8V to the 1.2 16v TCE.
Now both engines looking pritty much the same. My question is are the mounts the same from a 2005-present as mine 2000 mk2.
I dont need people saying its a pointless swap, because its effiencient, good mpg and a small bost in...
as said above, make a mould of your boot floor, and transfer onto a sheet of mdf, if for storage i wouldnt say to thick, about 10-13mm and cover in carpet. I'd say best bet is to make a box with hinges so when you open boot you can just pull it up to gain access.
So i got 4 days off and thought what could i do. So buying 4 litres of body filler 10m2 of fibre glass and resin will occupie me :)
starting on rear bumper getting the plastic inser smoothed over. followed by boot, side indicators arial, de wipered and to adapt the front bimper with the 182...
if you havent got the stalk for the fog lamps and have blanks inserted it would be highly doubted the loom would be there, but sometimes renault will use spare looms when mking the car, so unless you have a search for it i doubt you couuld possibly get the answer.
alternativly you can just wire...
