Very nice Matt, probably the colour i would have gone for if not the black, so how long before it's modded the same as the RB then :).......not that it's a bad thing, i think all rs clio's need a certain ammount of mods just to make them feel and run right.
I know exactly what you mean Toby, it would drive me mad if all i had to drive was a transit connect all day :) i know even now i would regret selling it if i did, especially on the first warm sunny day of the year.
it's my brothers clio and just the past few days the engine has started to shake quite a lot when sat idling at lights, we changed the plugs and the ht leads but no improvement, drives ok under acceleration but he says it's lacking power still, i tell him it's cause it's a 1.4 but he fails to...
Well done Matt :) didn't take long for you to see sense
i really want to keep mine as i remember how much fun it is in summer but it still depends on whether or not i can afford a van as well as keep the clio :(
PS
if i do sell it then the yozza will come off ;) the zorstec will go back on...
Alright Mike :)
Might be up for meeting up over christmas, two solid weeks off work might drive me crazy stuck in the house so a run out might be fun.
Not really thought about a combo much, i have two options in mind depending on the route i go down with the business, one is a commercial 110...
Sorry to hear you're having regrets about selling the clio mate, i had a bad feeling when you sold it as it was a really good example to own, with the belts done it would have been mint.
You may have noticed i haven't been active much lately, both on here and attending meets too, i'm toying...
Yeah not bad mate, bit hectic lately hence not being able to attend the meet last week but the clio is still running sweet so i'm hoping to get to some more meets soon.
I take it the golf is suiting you more than the clio did then?, i have to say i did like my old golf too :)
I'm gonna kick myself for not being able to do this one guys but i have a whole kitchen to fit at the moment and no where near enough time to get it done, not to mention trying to start up a new business too so the weekends are precious time at the moment.
I'll keep my eyes open for the piccies...
Not 100% sure mate, the guy lost me a bit when explaining but it means roughly that the system fitted was a cat 2 but had something like an extra immobiliser circuit fitted to make it a cat 1 for insurance purposes, i may be wrong on that though :)
Are you still allowed to cut off a finger for those kind of crimes in this country?.........oh no wait i forgot this is 2010 so apparently the child is a victim too, free trip to Florida then :)
I'm definately out of this one now i'm afraid, it's only monday and even now i can see i'm going to be too busy on saturday to be able to spare the time.
Shame about that Matt, good thing with the clio was that adding a map to it still kept it under the 182 it is rated at with insurance companies.
Look on the bright side, at least Sarah will be pleased you won't be moddifying it much now :)
How are the new wheels coming along?
Now you see why i wanted the Yozza so badly Fred :)
The guy should be ashamed, i just hope he never gets to work near cars again or some other poor unsuspecting mug will no doubt get to experience his handywork too :)
We started in keighley, west yorkshire and went up to Lake windermere in the lake district, it's a straight road up there and a really good drive if it isn't too busy :)
To be honest jim i haven't really done anything with it yet, the fix is something i could do myself with the tig set up so i'm not too fussed yet as i have the yozza fitted to my 182 now but i know Andy got rid of the guy who did mine so i guess i was just
unlucky that he was there when i went...
