you can't really do more than what you have done, poss take it to reno (expensive i know) but with a recurring alarm fault you don't have many options. i take it the plip locks and unlocks the car ok?
i didnt say disconnect batt to silence alarm. it will eventually silence itself. however i have seen three clio's with the same problem and disconnecting the batt for a period of time then going through the lock/unlock procedure has cured two of them. the third had water in the unit directly...
try leaving the battery disconnected and the car unlocked for several hours, then reconnect it, shut all the doors, windows, bonnet ect. lock the car with the plip leave for a minute the unlock it. this sometimes works if the alarm is playing up
its the spiral wire connects to the airbag. its supposed to coil and uncoil itself as you turn the steering wheel so the airbag is always connected as it were. it must be right or your airbag could fail to operate. you are also supposed to disconnect the battery for a while before playing with...
buy a tyre, its not best to carry out a major repair (sidewall) on a car tyre and considering the cost of one not worth the risk
failing that if you really want it repairing the only places that'll consider it are commercial tyre companies and even they probably tell you the arent willing to do it
possibly an air leak into fuel system or a blocked filter. best start with the cheap bits before the scare mongers start LOL
take it to a diesel fitter/shop
whereabouts in the world are you?
if you can take out your one 22mm spanner and take the part no off it i'll be able to help with a price, there will be 2 numbers a reno one and a bosch one just jot down both if it matches one i've got in they retail for £69 + vat you can have it for £50 all in the bosch ones are £88 + and...
the gsf one is probably a wire in jobbie not very good at all, the more joins in a wire the more the resistance increases therefore signal is altered these things operate between 0 & 500 millivolts (ish)
just call it an oxygen sensor, saves the confusion!
does your car have 2 sensors??
if so do you want the upstream or downstream one?
cos i have a fuelparts one in stock, upstream, but tbh its only the cable lengths and plugs that are different
he's right pop a belt on turn it over by hand see if anything touches if not try an start it. you may be lucky!! even if one or two are only very slightly bent it 'll still start and if thats the case sell the fukker qouick lol
