i fitted one to my kitcar using the -ve side of the coil but that was carbed not injection, just wondered if injection was the same set up?
are all the clocks the same size in the clio and 19 ranges?
most enthusiasts would notice some difference but nothing compared to the level or accuracy that race teams set up suspension for and when people say there car is well set up with lowering springs....b*llocks is it

anyone put a rev counter on an old 1.2 clio? built in or freestanding? which type? what did you wire it to?
what can i safely take it to? was thinking about 5 or 6k?
the MASSIVE fuel gauge is handy but isnt very interesting to look at

when i pass though il have my other car so going from 60 in the clio at about 13.1? (parkers not me:confused:), id have said it was longer than that? to 7 seconds :D

youd probably find a company that would do it for less if it was third party, fire and theft, some companies see it that as you only want cover for other people, your not going to take care of your car or be a careful driver
what company is your quote for the clio with? limited miles?
its so the car appeals to a wider audience, not everyone wants a car to be loud - so by making it quiet as standard its good for people who want a nippy runaround but for people who wanna go fast, they know they can put an aftermarket exhaust on it...... at the end of the day its so renault can...
when i pass my test il be first driver on a 2.0 kitcar with the likes of Kent, Weber and Spax making it even more fun :D, thats only £1200 with me first driver and il be getting the No Claims Bonus from that, which should hopefully mean that when im around the age of 21, i should be able to drop...
my advice would be to get a small runaround, 1.2 clio? just to toutle around in which would be cheap to run, and then keep the RX7 for weekends and occasional blasts around the country :cool:
just bought the insurance over the phone, £534 with my dad main driver but no NCB for that policy, me as a named driver but also any other driver, any age, with a full or provisional license, went through CIS, very helpful people and seems a good price

what kind of price is anyone else paying on a 1.2 at 17?
any rough figures? the cheapest iv got is £560 for any driver (inc under 25) which doesnt seem that bad although its stil higher than id like it to be, does it get any cheaper? and if so who with?
