Im taking Cupman29's clio down South on Saturday so cant make it and guess he cant either. :)
You do realise its supposed to be heavy rain on Sat?
Could do Sunday.
Im running a Omex with a Clio Cup Race car.
The zetec sensor helped with me - if your not getting sync with that it has to be your settings.
Omex are very helpful too if you give them a phone.
Car has been featured in Performance French Car Magazine - Spring Edition.
Some bits arent quite right/what I said like the gearbox in a roadcar and putting it on the road but overall im pretty happy with it. :) The pics are awesome.
Had the car out on Saturday and it went well, really...
This is the one I have and same design as Fiesta ST coil:
Northloopcup - Ive searched everywhere but cant find 9309BA - ive seen a 6019BA.
988F-12029-AB comes up with all different types.
The one I got is for a Focus ST170.
What's the new one off or part no would be handy. :)
Also got a 2006 Fiesta ST one and the lead don't fit that so assume its really new?
It is a lot of hassle if you move away from the standard ecu but the end result is you can map the car.
Wouldnt have thought it would be possible - its a sealed unit. No connector port or anything.
hmm your not the only one to say that. Its maybe not worth it.
Really looking to change over to better quality components from the Renault stuff. Had to swap to a Zetec crank sensor instead of the renault one so was going to change coil pack too.
Looking at the 2 leads (clio and zetec) the...
Looking at fitting a Zetec Coil Pack.
Got a Zetec Coil Pack and Connector to swap over. (Running Omex)
I was told on here the Renault leads should fit a Zetec Coil Pack - they dont seem to.
Looked at Zetec leads - the connector for going down to the spark plug is a lot shorter so not a...
After building the fiesta the state of the clio inside was annoying me. Someone had stuck silver foil tape all over the place and it just looked a mess.
Ive removed all rubber grommets and replaced them with metal plates.
Removed all silver foil tape.
Removed plastic foot rest which was...
Im using www.no-ip.com
Its free and works a treat. I had a program on a server before that which emailed me when the external IP changed but there was a delay between me getting the email and making a change for the DNS. Now change is made straight away.
I'm not trying anything at the moment - just getting my head round it.
I understand it from what you are saying. The crank pulley will dictate the belt position and pulleys can sit wherever.
When checking the timing it can only be teeth out by the sounds of it then (belts jumped) so timing...
Ive decided to become a member at last - should of done it a while ago - the guides look really handy and I can post in the Scotland section now woo. :)
Car is clio cup. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?504346-Clio-Cup-Race-Car&highlight=clio+cup+racer
Just a quick question about the cam belt / pulleys on a F4R engine.
Using the proper tools (horseshoe) you can lock the Cams into the right place.
If the pulleys are key-less then how do you know they are in the right place?
Assume they have some kind of marks on them which you line up?
I changed to one piece discs too - standard 172/182 discs with carbon loraine pads. Spacer is also a standard part from Renault.
One of the 2 piece discs cracked and R Sport said they didnt have any stock so was only option.
I have R Sport diagrams of both of above if anyone needs them.
