so the mk2 is approaching 10 years old.... some of the car is in my opinion starting to look a bit tired... the bumbers and wings and skirts are fine as i recently put them on and had them sprayed.. so i really just need to revive doors... bonnet boot and rear quarter panels. im a...
looks cool mate... dont think ive seen another clio simialr to that inside before... looks cool... any plans for the exterior of the car? will u be lowering? im alway interested in 5 door projects mainly because i also have a 5 door :-) always good to see how people transform them.. as lets be...
hmmm yeah im ok wouldnt say im that handy... might just put it in the garage then incase i muck it up. anyone have an idea of cost to get the garage to sort it... parts and labour? cheers
but maybe get some black 172 alloys if you like the black alloy look. lower it... take the exhaust off... remove window tints... and it will look so much better. RS grill for the front end aswell does wonders....
cant see you getting a lot of love here with that.... sound system looks ok i suppose... your neighbours must hate you... what with the chavtastic exhaust and induction kit and 2x1000 subs in ur boot.... :-) each to their own tho... id get new wheels though if i were you :-)
hey chaps,
got ball joints listed in my mot back in nov. thinking about changing them now..
how big a job is it? could i do this myself? how long etc... or if i put it into a garage how much should i expect to pay ? i have a 1.2 16v mk2 clio...
seen these on eurocar parts. are these the right...
handling with the spacers on is fine. im running 25mm hubcentric on both front and rear wheels. with no probs. only prob i experience is if i have a few people in the back seats. then the rub a tiny bit..... thats about it.
i havent been to any glasgow meets yet... seems to be a bit of humming and hawing about then in the scotland section. any glesgae punters reading this invite me to the next meet ;-)
40mm drop for sure. looks good and will still handle ok. 60 mm springs will make the ride poor. and given the state of britains roads can be a bit impractical imo....
i bought a underseat sub..... dosnt fit under the seat lol. only 500 w tho and the sound is good. nothing to chavvish. just enough to make the sound better.
if its a non sport. youll need sport wings... sport sideskirts... sport archliner... and more than likely wheel spacers as the wings are flared and ur wheels will sit in the arches. if you want it to look good its all or nothing im afraid :-)
well regardless im just happy how my car is sitting at the mo, and i more than likely wouldnt be if it wasnt for cros clio to inspire me so for that i thank him :-)
