Definitely worth the hassle mate, you'll love it. Would go for the milltek decat though tbh. It matches the milltek system perfectly and is second to none for quality. I have tried the system with other decats and they don't even compare!

There are lots of good routes mate, it's just picking one tbh! Think there's a road from emsworth that runs alongside the M27 but comes out at the first roundabout still. The bypass is always well busy, you could try coming off at the first roundabout which takes you up to the tesco/chi college...

I had the exact same thing mate. The map has a safety mechanism whereby you can't get to the higher limit until the oil has come up to temperature - makes sense really as it wouldn't do any good revving that high on cold starting!
