Yay! I'm back into Clio town!

After my fun and games with my 172, a dual carriageway, a dog, and my insurance company, then having to drive around in a crap Vauxhaul Astra oil burner for the last couple of months. I JUST GOT ME ANOTHER RENAULTSPORT!! :D:D:D:D 2005 182 in blue with antracite wheels. 18k miles 1 previous...

    NOOOOOOOO!

Just hit a stupid small dog on the way home from work. :( Taken out my front bumper/headlight/random stuff behind the bumper & now makes a grinding sound turning left. Had just come off the motorway (M20, Junction 10, Ashford), get off the roundabout onto the dual carriageway (A2070)...

    Changing Cat

So, on what level of difficulty would it be for me to change my own Cat? I'm fairly mechanically able, but to be honest I haven't done any real mechanical stuff in years except changing my brake pads last weekend. I've got a trolly jack, axle stands, and a decent selection of spanners...

    Silver Ph2, C***ROB Ashford ring road today @ 20:00

Cliosport sticker in the back. I pulled out behind you from the garage on Brookfeld Road, then followed you all the way to the M20 roundabout. I like your alloys :-) I decided to follow you to see if you would go for it, because I just did my RSTuner mapping today :-) (and just changed my...

Bodywork specialist in Kent (preferably Ashford or Maidstone)?

Does anyone know of a decent bodywork repair specialist in Kent who won't cost the earth? A month or so back, some git scraped down the side of me in a car park, left no details and wasn't caught on CCTV. As you can see it runs from under the door handle all the way to the rear arch. As it...

    Warning light

Comming down the motorway this morning on my way to work, the warning light in the center came on, it's the one that looks like the electronic symbol for a resistor in a box (manual seems to say it's either electronics problem or water in fuel). Then I was limited to 3000 revs and the engine...

    Mother Fraker!

Was parked in a car park in Ashford yesterday. Some fracker has put a crease down the passenger side of my car! Runs from the key hole all the way to the rear bumper! NYAAARGH!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: Not a happy bunny!

    182 Exhaust on a 172 (Ph2)

How difficult is it to have a 182 style exhaust on a 172? Is it just a case of buying a 182 exhaust andd getting a friendly grease monkey to fit it, or would it have to be a whole cusstom jobbie?

    I may have screwed up

Taking a closer look at my manual today. I have a feeling that when I topped up the brake fluid a couple of weeks back, I may have actually topped up the power steering resevoir with brake fluid instead :S Should I get down to a garage and get it flushed out?

    Gold 16v on M11 Saturday

Had a ClioSport.Net sticker in the rear window, got caught in the traffic on the M11 early saturday afternoon and was in front of me for a mile or 3 while we crawled along. Female, blonde, glasses, quite cute ;) I was in the Silver 172 behind you.

    STOP and (!) warning light

Every so often, especially if I am on a bumpy road or going up hill, the STOP and (!) (brake wraning light) will flicker on and off. I'm assuming that my discs or pads need changing, or is it an electrical fault. Strangely, they sometimes come on when stationary, but tend to go off if I...

    Reccomended head unit for 172

I want to replace the standard head unit in my '03 172 (ph2?). Want somethingg that plays MP3's, not bothered about iPod interface, has to have bluetooth. I'd like to still be able to use the 6 CD changer that came with it (an Alpine unit I believe), and also use the current sterring column...

    Hello All

Greetings. After several years of being carless, I needed a car to get to work again. I've wanted one for years (ever since my best mate bought one when they first came out), so I am now the proud owner of a 2003 Clio 172 in silver. Currently all standard, but I might be making some minor...
