Mine had the same problem, would only start with a quick tap on the starter motor. So i took it to the garage and it was fixed in no time, only cost 98 quid inc a new starter motor and labour :D. SOunds like brand new now, really pleased. But still a bit annoyed as im getting a new car hopefully...

Yer i will find out tommorow about the service history, tax and MOT status. I get my current Clio major serviced for £150 at my local garage. I was quite impressed by it only having 1 owner!
