Well i've just finished peeling the stickers off my black MTV this morning. They looked awful on the car! When you peel any of them off yes they do leave the outline of the sticker on the car, but i just wiped over a bit of T-Cut and then polished over it and theres no sign that they were ever...

It was quite easy to get the plates off, looks pretty straight forward as the holes for the screws are ready behind the plates. I will prob take it to the garage to get them wired up though :o. Just gotta find some lights with their surrounds to go in now!
I have a mk2 ph1 MTV with just blanks on atm, will there be anything behind the blanks to hold the fog lights in place? I know it sounds bit stupid lol! Think i might prob get a garage to fit em 4 me, prob easiest option :D
I found some quite cheap on eBay 23 quid each...
Am i right in thinking that i need the speakers to be 13cm across and 5.25" depth? Also will they just plug'n'play or will i need to re-wire them? Thanks, james
Hi, sorry i am just after speakers for the front doors. I will be getting that head unit, but im after advice on which speakers are the best for under 100 quid. I want to fit them myself hopefully, so if i could find a direct replacement that would be perfect. If not then i will pay Halfords to...
Hi, i have a Renault clio mk2 ph1 MTV. All i have at the moment is the original MTV CD player which is not the best, and the standard speakers.
I will be getting this JVC head unit, mainly because of the USB port...
Took mine in for a 'free' bonnet catch and ended up leaving with a bill for 450 quid!!
They did a 25 point check or something and found every expensive thing they could that needed replacing :S. Didnt really have much choice other than to have it done.
So watch out when you take yours in.
