I had taken some brand new VW wheels and tyres (not attatched) to be fitted at Kwikfit and they didnt even charge. When i went back to have a fitted wheel and tyre swaped with another fitted wheel and tyre they didnt want to know. However i took it to Hi-Q and they charged a tenner to do it.

Insurance companies just dont want to pay out though, they see it as a performance increase and save themselves the money.

Fair few people on here have them, mostly on ph2's. not for me personally. try a search for 3/4plates

but if you crashed and it was your fault and you wrote off a 57reg bentley, you would get turned away as your exhaust (or whatever) would be a 'performance' modification. you'd be paying out for it yourself and yes they would still look at it, unless it was blatently not your fault.

looks quite good suprisingly.

wings are about 50quid each, bumper 140, grille 40, headlight about 200, arch liners 25, headlamp washers 9, badge 20!. do you have to change the top half of the front panel? also i dont know if the bonnets are the same as a 1.2-1.6? as i thought ph1 172's were different?

182CUP.........yes i know its not a proper cup, but i thought it would look cr@p with ''182WITHCUPPACKS'' on the side and i liked the look of the trophy style stickers so it was the first thing that came to mind. can always be changed if i get bored of them.

fiat cinquecento with a bike engine in the rear (as grasstrack cars do), possibly an engine in the front, preferably hyabusas......... would probably cost over 15k

personally i would try and flog the lot and put it back to standard. failing that, leave it as it is, the front looks prob the best part of the body kit

You can get away with them on the back but you should use them on the front
