not sure, but some 19 16v had an onboard computer which shows mpg trip distance, amount of fuel in tank, might not be a problem thou for running the engine itself
dont think they are avaliable, pioneer were making a system with a intermediate box or summat as a standard so all stalks would work, but hasnt come out yet, should have bin months and months ago according to a mate.
on another note, whats it like ? have bin thinking about buying one, where...
isnt there a spring (or 2) that pull against each other to hold the gear stick in neutral which ever way moved ? u can check this by getting under the car, that bit is visable, one prolly has broken or summat
not to be the negative one, but my cable snapped, then the pedal ratchet went then it got real heavy, and now when in 4th/5th any medium push makes it slip big time. if it gets heavier in a short space of time beware of this, and think about a replacement clutch
robfenn, yeah thats where i saw it first, i love those wheels aswell, tried to get some, but they only come in 18" and larger :( dont want to completely ruin the ride, if u do find out, give us a shout would ya, ta
anyone know of good headunits with shock protection, the standard 10 secs is cool, i really want a pioneer but none of them seem to have this. also, the mp3 headunits, do they have antishock as standard, cos i presume there is a slight buffer for the decompresion ?
heh, i dont see how blasting something with ball bearings will chrome it :) might strip off the surface and have a mottled effect thou :) another thing thuo, does anyone know where u can get ure alloys diamond cut ? and how much
yeah, odd how some cars are really high on bhp, presume there are loads that are under, but i dont think anyone is gonna shout about that so its less known :)
bill, will be good to see if they are right on that then, ive never seen stats that show that.
Renwill, that would be good to compare to get a rough estimate, but you will have more bhp as u both have the same mods, its just a question of how much u will lead i reckon
u can chrome plastic. the item in question does have to be properly prepared first, and it does have to be properly sealed after, as normal chrome isnt corrosive resistant either, arent the bonnet vents on 16v a hard plastic ? and there are a few of them chromed around
point taken craggy, although there are always a certain amount of cars that overperform, renault seem to make this a speciality :) there are 172 and 16v that kick out power above there specs
and yeah, thru twisties a willy would always have it, just would have thought that a stage 2 16v should...
ive looked it up on the net, and some places seem to, but all seem to be industry and not consumer, if its only metal, then fair enuff, all have to look into parts made up first from metal then chromed

im toying with the idea of chroming a few choice bits from my car, but have no idea where to turn to have it done, does anyone know ? ive seen a few ppl have chromed bonnet vents, can anyone tell me where that was done to plse, and price if poss

ive been trying to get a clear picture of what benefits a williams has over the 16v. basically its torque low down, its power band. in that case would a modified 16v (gasflowed, cams, chip) be able to do the 1/4 mile in the same time as a chipped williams then ? if they had the same bhp...
ive just booked mine in at the end of the month for flowed head/cams/chip, coilovers, uprated clutch and 4 pot brakes.
