very much so - the gaskets aren't making the heads hot - thats how hot they are... its just showing how much difference it can make to the plenum, etc. Glad to see +ve results yet again! best of luck getting more power! :-)

There should be no reason why our gaskets dont last longer than the OEM items. PTFE isn't liable to damage from things such as increased vibration, excess heat, damage from fuels/oil, etc. The material is high quality UK sourced stuff, not like some of the crap you find on ebay, etc. I say...

182 confirmed as the same thicknesses as per 172 gaskets. Makes simple fitting and clean end setup. Anyone wanting thicker can have it but you may have to file/drill, etc to fit. People with throttle bodies - go for whatever thickness you want - can cut upto 5mm for you. Cheers

Difficult to say as in theory eventually everything will reach the temp of the engine bay... Temps should in normal driving circumstances should overall be lower and take A LOT longer to get there - i.e. on your morning drive to work which takes say on average 25mins temps would never have...
