i went to london and back on a full tank, was on about 1 or 2 bars at the end, about 300 miles there and back. mostly at motorway speed... + 20mph or so maybe :). worked it out at about 40mpg, i think thats maybe pushing it a bit, probably more like 33-37.
find it hard to actually be...
"In todays harsh environment the paintwork on the modern car has to put up with a bombardment of external forces such as acid rain... industrial fallout"

i had a problem getting the right shocks when i needed to replace mine
(a job that started off as replacing the springs ended up in a 2 whole new struts including shocks, springs, bearings etc, just cos the bolts on the old shocks were seized in the engine bay. wasn't pleased, anyway, back to...
do u not find windowblinds excessively slows ur system down? i got a patch for the windows skinning software so u just load the theme like you do the classic or xp themes, only a few meg file that way, rather than running windowblinds in the background too.
i'd love to show you my background...

open one of the photos, open the actions pane and make a new action.
name it and press record.
go to image>>imagesize and input the size you want it to be, click ok.

looking to pick up some clear side repeaters for my mk1, are all the aftermarket replacement ones universal, as mine has the badge strip behind, which i can't remove cos of the black blob of glue left on the wing. do they fit straight in on all phases?
does anyone know the best/cheapest place...
the only issue i heard about was when running a 64bit operating system and using 32bit programs is it uses an emulator to run at 32bit, making a direct comparison with a 32bit operating system running 32bit software slightly quicker than a 64bit running 32bit programs
looks good, been thinking of doing a similar thing for my ph1, was gonna make a custom insert instead of that double bar thing on the ph1 and colour code it.
oddly, when i look at ur car, i think of a saxo, that light/bonnet and bumper combination!
looks pretty good i reckon, apart from the rear lights, personally i'd have done the silver more smoked like the inside of the headlights and to match in with the wheels
hose down with a jetwash, washed with carplan triplewax (read ur washing guide after i did it, will look one that doesn't combine waxing in the wash for the next time) then polished with mer using a random orbit jobby. did the windows with some mystery blue stuff me dad gave me, some...
bouncy speedos, fuel gauges that go up and down depending on if ur going left or right, changing the space between the shock bolt holes by 2mm for no apparent reason, leaky sunroofs, rear jetwash pipes that come detached along the back bench front drenching the back of the car, all the joys of...
i reckon they suit it, the colour especially. what u don't want to see is a red high top corsa van with them on like i did this morning. big mistake. looked like a pimped up postman pat
