Yep got it home no problems. The mk2 almost didn't make it home after a small incident with a mk3 1.2 ripcurl. But thats another story :o

Tbh, I was having a good look in the engine bay and thought, bloody hell that exhaust manifold is close to the brake lines and realised the heat shield was missing. Not to worry, it won't be driven really until september.

I've been wanting to buy a car that I could use for track for a while now. Decided to buy a mk1 because they're cheap to buy and insure and I know a few people who own one so can give me a few tips.

Tonight on the way home northbound on the M6, overtook you and you looked at the my car and the clio behind me and then pulled out and kept up for a while then pulled off at junction 19.

Yea the wheels are sprayed black and then each spoke has a light pass of silver on it, just something a bit different but not in your face.

Lmao thats a funny shaped towel, it was infact the motor for the garage door with a light on the front of it. But with me not being from alderley edge I didn't know so it was obviously my fault :o.

Been to Jamie's today (JD) to get the car PC'd, apintwork wasn't too bad really, it just needed a goot polish. Jamie was happy with it and so am I.
