Buy from renault, then you will need the genuine renault timing belt tools to lock the engine or else you will lose your timing.

Did you have the aux belt kit fitted or just the belt? I doubt the crank pulley squeaking.

Sounds cheap at £150, rebuild should be circa £250

Just check if all the pulleys move ok, belt could have been fitted incorrectly (easily done) seen them fitted not quite right on the p/s pump pulley.

So you had a belt changed, but no tensioner/pulley?

Big job, subframe off, might as well change the clutch while its off, secondhand boxes available from £150^ but it would be better to recon yours, £££ I'm afraid.
