is it possible to fit a 172 accelerator pedal in a non sport? Sold a working 172 pedal on eBay, the buyer tells me his car is now in limp mode, I asked why he bought it in the first place? He said he liked the look of the sport pedal, my question is would it maybe not be compatible? And cause...

As said wait until cambelt time, or have it all done early if it's causing issues, I don't see why you think you need another rocker cover though?
The results are in, it was never going to be good anyway, I unfortunatly fitted 3 of the rod end caps the wrong way round apparently they are in effect directional so 3 where rotating the wrong way, its lightly damaged 2 rods and mullered one, this has in turn sent swarf round the engine taking...
Buy a forge actuator and bend the rod, that's what I did on mine, there are 3 different strengths of spring so you can run 0.8psi it will need setting up though.

I was only heading down the acl route because there tagged, as said I ended up with glyco bearings.
The update on this is I have authorised a strip and inspection instead of breaking it for parts, I'm leaving it with Chris and also Andy (over boost) on here who is going to be doing the tear...
Also I bet that 9 times out of 10 a boosted clio is up for sale because something is wrong, there have been several turbo clios that have been bought and needed a rebuild due to poor compression, there was one that Andy rebuilt not long ago, I bought one and there was a black one last year, most...
