All he is saying is:
Warm Air = Better economy and less emissions
Cold Air = Better performance/ power
The 57i Kit (that is what you have bought isnt it??) is an open filter designed NOT to be in an airbox, so there is no point trying to custom make a box to put it in. Just leave it open and...
I got both my mirrors booted off by some vandel when I park it on the side of the road. So I had to replace them with cheap M3 mirrors because I couldn't afford new mirrors. Still not got the original colour coded mirrors on.. Nevermind :(
The westerham meet I went to a few months back, somebody brought down an Evo.
The anti-lag on that was so loud that the cows in the field next to us actually stood up and walked off to the other end of the field and scared the calfs lol. Needless to say the pub owners actually asked the guy...
If anything like Tez said, it's going to be responsiveness. You should get better torque and maybe a few BHP, but not massive amount of bhp from an exposed IK. You wont get any gain from the CAF as it's not the CAF that is attached to your inlet, the power comes from the filter and how much cold...
You want some of this mate, pretty much everybody loves it and has it on their IK.

The more cooler denser the air, more gain you will get out of your engine. Simple. Good CAF ducting is worth spending money on as you want the most cold air...

Could do with getting some bumper blacker + shine on that rear mate ;)

17 years old, clean license, no claims and insured on a Peugeot 1.1XN P reg, standard in everyway, on my mums policy = £1539.32/ year fully comp. The insurer I was with would not allow modifications to the car, phoned around about 6 insurers and they all said I had to be either 21 or 25 to have...
