There's no need to glue the ends on... i just started at one side with self tappers and worked my way round to the other side and trimmed the other end.

I had this intermittent problem of my Clio not starting / starting too.

On the topside it holds a foam insert supposedly to catch oil/fluids...
(when i removed mines it was pretty weighed down with accumulated oil, sand and muc. Binned that foam piece and the plastic tray is lying underneath my removed engine cover)
Err. the fusebox on the passenger side at the dashboard end (open the door), since you're a right hand driver.
On the inside of the fusebox lid they're marked with UCH (3 fuses)...
