Thought i'd give a little update for LMG... nothing too major really. I've just been driving it really for the last 6 months :D. only notable thing to break was the old 16v alternator, but ive managed to fit the 110A 172 one now so all is rosy :)
I've got a lot of ideas in the pipeline, just...
ermmm
it's in my thread somewhere :o
best off bugging f0xy, he has it written up in a nice neat pdf somewhere :D
its 2 wires to the ecu
1 for power
and 2 earths
Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project
Still trying to remember who it was that I used for my J platers screen
was about £88 fitted iirc (and they came out to me)
Just wondering about inlet matching and what is done in the process..
what holes are enlared?
the ones on the inlet that interface with the cylinder head?
the ones on the inlet that interface with the plenum
the ones on the plenum that interface with the inlet?
is the entire inlet...
probably the 1.8 16v
identical shell to the williams, can come in the same colours too
the engine bay will look identical too, but the 1.8 is noticable less torquey at lower rpms
and the front track is a lot narrower
there are other differences obviously, but those are the main points :p
still 0v at the coil on cranking?
is the ecu sending 0v from pin 68 on cranking?
are you getting +12 at the fuel pump relay?
:edit: infact, grab me on msn and i'll run through some things with you
