Passenger side door handle on my ph1 172 has cracked and pulled through the bolt hole....
Would these handles fit? It says 98-06 but i wasnt sure are ph1 and ph2 the same...
This is the only pic of my car i have, the drive is greta at times and not so great at others...
Motorway, ok but not great at higher speeds, had a volvo/audi/bmw before this and it cant compete
Central london traffic, crap, its just horrible...

YAY got it sorted, it wasnt the tripod bearing at all!
It was the ABS ring that had moved by a mm or so, and therefore was binding on the sensor or something. Just tapped it back into place and it work again. Phew, panic over.!
nice one, that sounds like what i need, do you open the window all the way to gain access to that bit of the glass inside the door?
Is there just one of these clips that slide inside the door pillar?
Yeah, it was either that or ram the barrier, if id known my window would break i would have thought about it a bit more but i still think i made the right decision....
Got to dartford today, went to open my drivers window and crunch, the glass fell forward and its broken. Im now in london with not many tools :(
The motor seems to work still as i manages to get it closed again pulling the glass and pressing button at the same time, but when it fall forward...
Yeh it probably isnt that. So you think it is most likely that I just have put the driveshaft in twisted? I dont quite understand how that is possible, but if it is im sure I could find a way of doing it.!
Yeh the ball joint was undone, and to get more movement, due to the shock being at full extension I undid that too. It slid in, and seemed to feel right. Do you mean I can pull it out of the gearbox without draining the gearbox oil? thanks
yeh it might not be sat right, this is the first time ive removed a drive shaft. I did not take it out of the hub, beacause I had no way of undoing the end bolt, so I just undid the shock so I could get free movement. Initially I could not turn the axle in neutral by the hub, only when it was in...
