yes 3 litres of 75/90. the circlip seems to have gone on fine just had it jacked up, and spinning 50 in fifth fine. there is no noise when there is no strain... it seems

They were there when I put it back in. I dont really know, i pushed it back in and it seemed to go in fine. the gearbox feels normal at low speed, but then it starts "whining" at anything more. so i stopped and reversed it home. have i completely screwed it?
