I passed a new shape red (52 reg) V6 Clio on the M40 yesterday evening. I pulled out of Warwick services southbound and there she was. Awesome.
Even got a flash from the driver !!

You may have heard this before but one of the reasons that GM called the Nova "Corsa" in Europe is because in Spanish, Nova means "wont go".

Remember that yes engine braking is good, but if you just fly down the gearbox you will be putting BIG loads on your transmission. Heel and toe it if you are going down the box and braking hard.

I had a clutch worn out after 8400 miles on my mk2. Apparently there was a problem with the release springs not being strong enough, a known issue that Renault told me about, and this meant that when i released the clutch, it didnt release properly.

I fitted it and it was relatively easy. Problem is the cold air feed. Temporarily i used the exiting air feed for the standard box, but you should use a feed replacing a fog light of ducted from the front grille (somehow). Mine was for a 172 (didnt specify mk1 or mk2). Fitted nice and easy...
