The single most overrated product eveerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I hate the stuff, I'll stick to my Menz and 3M thanks.
On LY, you should be fine with Menz 3.02 or 203S and a polishing pad. Buy some decent polish :)
I bought all of the GT range and swiftly sold most of it. The C3 is nice, but its...
I'm stalking you Yellow Dave! I know what car you have now too.
As I said on DW, just use LP then SNH. I'm sure you'll be pleased. No point mincing about with glazes on LY tbh, you will struggle to see a difference.
I would however, suggest you take a look at sealants, to get the most out of...
Seriously, just use G101. It cuts through anything, just don't let it dry!
It's all I use now for wheels, arches, tyres and pre rinses. It eats through dead insects too.
I would mate it, if I were a liquid chemical with the horn. Sometimes I wash my FS with it too, especially if I've...
I'm a BWAB!! Woop!
Both are very similar paint cleanser. LP is more oily, so not an ideal base for sealants, and will fill a touch less than SRP. SRP is probably the better all round product by hand, but LP is epic by Rotary.
As JD says, neither will really deal with scratches by hand, the...
Not sure on colour yet, might get a Pirelli actually and change the wheels.
But yep, 300hp with a remap and some KW's and I'll be reet happy.
JD, I hate my Meg, so it has to go :(
I spent today getting burnt to a crisp whilst tidying up my mates dads Golf GTI. I agreed to help clay it to get the tree sap and crap off it, but ended up doing my best to deswirl it in the time I had.
It was washed by my mate (AS Shampoo) and left wet for me.
I then:
- Clayed with...
After a number of glowing reviews on here, and having played with some mightily impressive samples of polishes etc kindly provided by Chris/Waxamomo, I decided to buy the Wolf Chemicals Body Wrap and Shine & Seal combo from Waxamomo (great service as ever Chris, thanks mate!).
I spent some...
Lots of people seem not to like it, but I've recently bought the 3M machine from I4D and absolutely love it. Nice and light, everything where you need it and very well made (based on a Rupes machine, which is very good!)
I also have a CP8210, but it's been playing up a lot lately and overheats...
Cheers :) Yep pretty much a car park, but luckily one with a hose and tap in the middle. Dirty floor but ideal environment really. I'm getting a unit in a couple of weeks so can detail rain or shine :)
Today I was expecting a nice easy, quick correction detail - yet another RenaultSport (have I done the most in the country by now?), so very familiar territory for me. Today's example was a car I've never done before - a DCI 175, but in a colour I know very well, Deep Black, the same as my...
Indeed :)
Great job on the interior btw! I'd LOVE to do that to mine, and replace all of the marked plastics... I could easily be as bad as you, but I hate my car more than I love it.
Whoever has this off you will get such a mint car.
Did you order those Eagles?
Yes you will - G101 is an all purpose cleaner/degreaser which you will use to remove general dirt and grime. Tardis will take care of the chunks of road tar which will be under there.
Nah dude it's only £17, and it lasts AGES. You use very little:

I need my head checking tbh mate, both window regs have gone on mine again, and the CV Joint is leaking. I think I've been unlucky though.
Renault Wolves have a blue Cup in at the moment, but all of the right options. I got a good part ex offer on mine too.
Yeah dude, took one out today, and its the only car I can get along with. I'll give it a few months though for them to come down to £15k - they seem to be falling hard at the moment!
Put it on veeeeeery thinly, and don't leave it for more than 5 minutes or so, and it should be fine to remove.
Or, just buy Colli 845, get all of the durability and none of the drama :)
Yeah, used it on about 7 cars or so now. It's getting good feedback, and looks stunning when first applied, but the durability claims seem a bit wild...
Not overly impressed with most of the GT range tbh. I'm going to sell most of it.
Zaino is the most durable sealant, so I'm sticking to...
