hey mate , i did the dash on my mk2, i bought the kit from crazyleds.co.uk (20 ish quid), it came with step by step instructions so i presume if they have mk3 3 that would be the same.
piece of piss is a slight exageration imo lol, but its doable with a little sense and the instructions (mk2...
it is possible to do it without locking the cams and crank, but risky, and i would imagine a smaller garage would only be 150-200 labour anyway, so defo not worth it mate
ah im on coilovers too so might be something else? you can usually see whats rubbing once the wheel is off but if its very definately one side broken spring would be my guess
might be the drivers side just cause the driver is in it, try with a passenger in the front too and see if both sides do it,
mine is down on coilys and scraped like hell when i first bought it (also on 17's) raised it up a bit and its normally ok, just occasional catch on the bumper mount which...
price is good! which is the main thing, i work in marketing so consider myself somewhat of an expert ;) iv sold my last 2 cars within 24 hours of advertising (btw scot ads is a great place to advertise and has a free option)
i think the add is fine, there are some things you can add which might...
thats a pain, maybe the element is fooked? if your passing a scrappy pop in and get one most will just let you have it or take 50p whatever.
mine isnt great but it works
hey, does it get red hot if you hold it in past the pop? if so you need to bend the little metal clips in the cigarette lighter socket in the way a little bit, that should cause it to hold in place a bit longer and get hot enough to ignite.
if you bend them too far it wont pop, so have a play...
hey man, i was looking for steelies not long ago for winter tyres, 15s are the smallest you can go for calliper clearment, not a lot of 15 steelies about though, easiest might be off a vauxhall as they fit.
after looking for ages on ebay and in my local scraps and coming up with nothing i found...
no worries hope it solves it, ironically iv just discovered my petrol gauge is stuck lmao! reset didnt work for me gauge just stayed where it was, had everything apart yesterday putting in new blue SMDs so i reckon iv put the needle on too hard :dead: off comes the dash tommoro
you can try resetting the dash? easy place to start - ignition off hold the trip button and turn key to 2, everything should kind of wiggle, then wait 15 seconds and press the mileage reset
i read this btw havent done it myself, but sounds worth a go?
free battery and alternator check at kwik fit is what i would start with, failing that then ye something must be draining it, kwik fit will tell you if its charging or not.
rare chance the battery has a fault, rule out the rest then take it back maybe? inlikely theres anything wrong with it...
no i dont think that would cause this, disconnect it and check to be sure
you should give the cluster connectors a spray to be sure, you can also try disconnecting them one at a time and seeing if the problem is still there, if it is must be a connection problem elsewhere
hmm, try taking off the plugs on the rear clusters and give them a spray with WD, failing that check the earths, and failing that maybe resolder the dash plugs? thats my best guesstimate anyway
i would guess that resoldering where all the wires go at the back would sort it? did this to fix my old LCR immobilser and it made the gauges smoother and more accurate too, bonus!
love this, looks awesome! stickers are a nice touch i reckon sets it off nicely, your roof plan sounds nuts! but i would have said the same about the yellow buts till i saw these pics
i dont think the sequence matters too much, me and mate did belt kit on mine, there is a flattish piece of metal which is inserted into the two cams under the black covers to hold them straight, the locking pin goes in the front of the engine, kind of down to the left of the dipstick, the belt...
it has to be the aux belts or one of the pulleys etc connected to that, iv never heard of a low battery causing squeal but a badly slipping belt could lead to a low battery (but it would likely snap/come off before it was loose enough to do so) you can rule it out by going to kwik fit who do...
you can hear a difference with k&n so i would have thought you would hear it with K-tec too.
the normal filter works, if the car is used heavily a lot it can end up distorting a bit in the middle which will lose you a few horses, get the better one id say
lol bad luck fella, garage it i reckon, get the alarm disconnected till you get a replacement key.
though i would have thought that turning on the ignition would have turned it off? ah well
