Do you mean Brembo 4 pots?If so off the top of my head:
Newer Imprezas
Mitsu Evos(V+)
Fiat Coupe(turbo)
RS Focus(old shape)
Peugeot 406 Coupe(3l)
Skyline GTR
350z
Some Mercedes cars
I used to have a Ph1 totally standard, even had the alu bonnet.I sold it to my brother as I needed something bigger once my daughter came along and have regretted it ever since.Finding I need a bigger car less and less now so am once again looking at Clios, but this time it will be a 172 cup...
From what I gather the driving tales forum was closed after a forum member died in an RTA.Some could argue that condoning the posting of racing tales on an open forum was tantamount to encouraging it.I think closing the forum was a good move by the mods/admin team.
Ive just started running in my rebuilt engine in my GTiR and will be doing a mixture of normal driving and giving it short bursts of acceleration. If you are too gentle the rings can glaze the bores and youll burn oil.
Similarly avoid dual carriageways/motorways as sitting at a constant...
Ive got a 95 M reg Naples valver. It will be for sale soon(63,000miles FSH,Derbyshire) as I get my other car back next week and I want a turbo diesel for my runabout.
I spent a year looking for LSDs for my car and finally found them in Malaysia. You just have to be patient. There must have been a French one car series for the Clio so start looking thaddaway for ex motorpsort spares.
My knackered old engine did a 12.7sec @ 107mph with a slipping clutch.I should see mid 11secs @ 115mph or so on the new spec when finished running in over January/February.
I get about 28-30mpg driving it like a granny.I think its pretty crap really for a light car and one of the reasons Im thinking of selling it to get a 306td as my work/everyday car.
Pretty accurate is all youre going to get and he wouldnt claim they were 100%.Funny you mention +/- 0.5 secs because thats what he applies with regards to mechanical sympathy.1/4 miles arent the real world hence 2 lots of times for the same car.
It goes to "00ths" because thats what it comes...
Its pretty accurate actually.I know the guy and he has compared many actual times(tested it on GTiROC&Scoobynet) to his theoretical ones and they are very very close.

Read this for the "thrash it in"opinion. Its how mine will be done.
Drive your cars in isolation and they seem quick.Pit them against the same model and you soon start getting the urge to empty your bank account/get a loan/get a faster car;).Im speaking from experience and a seriously depleted bank account:(.
