Thanks for all the replies guys :) Yeah I dont think the exhaust is a K-tec, unfortunately. Looks like mild-steel rather than stainless maybe? Well at least it seems slightly uprated and not out of place. Sounds good though, nice and throaty when you give it some. I'm loving the cup...

Basically I have a Sony CDX-GT929U which I had in my previous car (Vectra GSi). I had a Connects2 adapter for that which enabled the steering wheel controls to work and the dash display to work in a fashion lol. Because the cd player is a reasonably recent model, Sony apparently didnt make make...

Well had the cup over 3 weeks now and I'm so happy with it. Sorted some of the things that really needed doing...like a good service, feels 100 times better now, 2 of the plugs were nackered and it really needed new oil. Had the gearbox linkage lubricated too as 1st and 2nd was very stiff...

Almost rang about this car when I started looking, stunning car. Was a bit out of my price range though. Got a standard cup in the end and I love it. I also paid the higher end of the scale for a Cup....but its in excellent condition and has been looked after very well, so I dont mind paying...

Found it on pistonheads Gaz. Dont think the guy I bought it off was an "enthusiast". Owner before him was though, kept it clean and standard. Dont think he was on forums though

I've just bought a 172 cup, had it a week now.....I love it!! Awesome performance. So quick...the noise, the feel, the acceleration, altogether its such a thrill. And it looks great too My last car was a 2000 Vectra GSi, 2.5 V6 with around 200bhp. The clio would run rings around it

Also interested in what people say about this, thinking about getting some for mine :)

Nice one that would be really cool. I have a question about panel filters...which one is recommended? After being a vauxhall man for a while I'm not totally clued up on which manufacturers are best. I've heard K-Tec, ITG and Pipercross may be decent to look at? Just want to help it breathe...

Thanks. It went for £3k in the end. Great cars, brilliant value for money. Plenty of performance from the V6, sounds great too. Have a look on VVOC.com. I've been a member on there for ages and theres often some good ones for sale.
