Dont do them too tight though - Ive broken a pair of mole grips before - not on the same procedure but similar application. Then again I got a limpet off a rock when I was about 10 - maybe I have strong fingers... :confused:

GMC do some niiiice conversions for Saxos - would be interesting to see a Valver with an SC... Do they do low compression pistons and other stuff in the conversion as well?
M8 - if it appears to fire up and stops check the basics...
Unlikely to be sparking / battery if it kicks over...
Id start with Fuel or breathing probs...

Rolling road would be better - they are a nightmare to setup on your own...
You wont really notice any power gains but smoothness in acceleration and less in the way of flat spots.

Got a volt meter? If so measure the voltage when the engine is at idle - should be 14ish volts... if its not - could be alternator!
Might be better with a recon one rather than a breakers... at least then u know the internals are ok!
If u dont have a meter a local garage will have one... go...
