frayed wiring would be my bet, it is the usual cause. under one of the front seats ish is the most common. are there any renault or french car garages near you ? they will of seen this alot and be able to sort it easily for you

the ecu is the cars computer, when you "remap a car" you adjust the settings on the computer basicly. those ebay chips are just a load of nonsense i would ignore performance and just worry about looks

550d is a nice camera, just not sure if i want to spend that much yet, decisions

its not for your car and its probably a load of s**t mate, i doubt it will do anything if not make things worse. remapping the standard ecu is an idea, might get a bit of power and some better drive ability out of it but its whether you can justify the money for it on a small engine

make sure what your playing is in proper surround sound, else you will only get sound from the front speakers unless its in 5 channel stereo or something

i wasnt on about video at all, i thought the 6FPS was the speed it would take photos in burst ? which would make it better than 3.5fps for action photos yeah ? or have i got the wrong end of the stick so is the 1.2 second shot-to-shot the speed between taking standard photos ?

i have a phase 1 172 (2litre RS clio) very good cars mate, i have a 1.2 before that as well engine mods i wouldnt bother with mate, you wont get anything out of it. dont bother with induction or anything it will probably loose you power best bets are to make it lighter in whatever way possible...

car looks nice, what exactly is your question? lol, about the airbag/service light? have you got the standard or different seats in it? if there standard then the wiring has probably worn under one of the seats, it will need reconnecting
