Just spotted an R27 for sale near me and the plate is "R2 SVN". I have PM'd Stoddie (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/member.php?11666-stoddie) as it looks like he had it (and put the plate and spoiler on), but as he may not come on to check the PM, I thought I would see if anyone else knew...
I think the lad was called Keith aye, I bought my front pads from Revolution and I delat with him then.
The car has standard 172 wheels on now, it was being driven quite hard by the looks of things.
Saw the Monaco 172 that used to belong to the lad that works at Revolution this morning. I think the new owner works at NRAM.
Not sure if the new owner is on here though.
Mine aren't from KTR, but my coilovers are a not too distant relation to the KTR ones.
I bought Eibach Camber bolts (from Jam Sport) and used them as the ones that came with the kit stripped the chocolate type threads when I tightened them up the second time (after staying tight for about two...
Thanks for the comments guys, when I was initially looking for a Clio I spent a while finding a Flamer in good enough condition.
The bike is the most fun though, but not always practical enough.
I had the Clio stored in the garage for a few months, but I needed the space for the Proton, so I got it back out.........It's a lot of fun compared to the wife's Ford Fusion... New splitter will be on tomorrow, the od one is in a mess....
Just spotted what I think was your car on the A1 (Kingston Park area).
I was on my way into work on the bike and spotted a 172 and I recognised the plate from the NERP meet.
I was heading up that way on my bike (that'll explain why you didn't spot a Clio), but it started raining when I got near alston (after having Sunday lunch at a pub) so I didn't get all the way there.
Or they are selling something similar and want to see what the item goes for? I know there's other ways, but that is a decent way of finding out how much things go for.
Pre 'adjustment for cup spacing' the holes would look like this.
Out of interest, why did you go for the Eibach bolts instead of the ones supplied with the suspension? I have done the same, but that was because I thought i'd have more adjustment with the Eibach ones but in the end I think...
They actually look better than I thought they would. They look reasonably big in the pics, but they look ok. Now I just need to decide if it's worth spending the money. I also tried my 'spare wheels', which look a little small, but they need bigger tyres as the 45 profile isn't big enough.
Just picked these up to try.
There's a couple of marks on the but that's nothing really, the issue for me is that they are 17's. Got to try them on the car to see if they are ok before I pay.
Has anyone had these fitted in their Clio? I know of a set that are a decent price, but unsure if they will look ok.
I'm not asking if they will fit etc, there's plenty of info about that, but they are quite distinctive (they have dark red ass/back pads), so wanting to see if they look 'out...
I have the standard 172 wheels on my flamer, they have been painted grey and I think they look decent, but I fancy a change. I have added a few pics below of some examples, but any other reccommendations/suggestions/photoshops would be welcome.

Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
2004 (04) Flamer,
service history (not full),
53k miles,
Will have full M.O.T.,
Belts done,
6months tax
It has a few things like braided lines, coilovers (have original suspension if that would help it sell), and a S/S exhaust.
