I changed the ride height a little on my car a few weeks ago and when I put it back on it's wheels, it wasn't sitting right (not to that degree, but still not right).
I was sure, the car was level before I changed the height and both were adjusted the same so the only possible failure was me...
I do get how odd it is that I garage a car for the summer, but I really don't need it for the next few months.
I could sell it and buy a cheaper car for winter use, but I owe nothing on the Clio, I like it, and they aren't selling for much so it's probably not worth selling.
I use my bike (the SV in the last pic) to commute and my wife has a car, so the Clio is going to be kept in the garage until I need it again (when it snows).
The SV is also going (just ordered a ER6-F) as well, so I thought I would grab a couple of pictures of them together.
During the...
Hopefully my Skoda Splitter will be here today, or Monday, but just phoned Jam-Sport and K-tec and unfortunately they have none in stock. I might just place the order so I have one 'reserved' and just be happy when it arrives.
I can't get onto their site and there was no answer today when I rang, I will have to call again tomorrow and leave a message for a call back.
The other thing I wanted straight away was the Skoda Splitter, but I have ordered that from the local koda Dealership
I think I am a little late for the Jam-Sport offer and the ones from Demon Tweeks have gone right up, so I have started looking around.
Has anyone bought from/heard of "FR&RT Tuning"? They have the 'two hole' Whiteline ARB on for £147.89. Sems cheap, but never heard of the company...
Re: Stripped track car / red stuff pads / soft brake pedal - Track day on Saturday!!
I have redstuff pads in my Clio (fronts only) and Brembo HC discs, the pads don't 'need heat' to work, they are fine from cold for me, I have mintex (I think) pads (nothing special, just Mintex cheap ones) and...
Not everyone would....one rear bearing went on my 172 and I my wife didn't notice that it had a wobble....To be fair, there was only a faint droning noise for some reason, maybe she just had her foot so planted when driving, the exhaust took over the noise.
I am with 'The Post Office'. Can't complain to be honest. £26 a month for unlimited* boradband, line rental and weekend calls. I live in the sticks though, so this is a 'good' speed as my father in law gets 4.5meg and he lives just across the road.
It is always difficult to understand why people think about things like this after they have spent the money on a modification.
I know that may not sound constructive, or helpful, but it isn't meant to be.
I think there was a thread about that dealership recently. I don't think many people had good things to say.
#EDIT#
Maybe not as bad as I remembered

I was never very good and I'm still not great, but a decent connection makes a lot of difference in my games. I was playing on Friday and my son was watching ScoobyDoo on youtube, so my connection dropped to two ot of four, I was getting shot before I saw people coming round the corner...so I...
I have found what will possibly be a cheap car to play around with, it has some test, but it is 100mile away and it has no tax :(
According to the FAQ on "Day Insure" it is technically possible to tax a car using this, but has anyone had any direct experience of this...
I used to get 95-100mpg from my YBR 125, it was great money wise, but not a lot of fun. I now get 58ish mpg from my SV650. I save £15-£17 per week by taking the bike instead of the car, so that covers running the bike (Tax £70, insurance £90, M.O.T. £25) plus helps towards the money I spent on...
Hello from down the road (Dipton). I can't comment on the car as I've never had a 197, but i'd guess it'll be better than the RSI....
If you are free on Sunday then there's a few people going down N.E.R.P. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?559558-N.E.R.P-Mega-Sunday-Meet
I have replaced my 3GS screen twice (Lasted 18months without doing any significant damage then two new screens needed in the space of a month after unlucky drops) and my m8's once, all three were cheap ebay ones (£5.50) and were ok in terms of connectors.
I bought from UK sellers only (no...
