I thought the keyless stuff would be a but gimmicky but my mate got a 1.6 gt a few months back and ever since playing with it on that I've been trying to come up with ways to do it on mine, main thing stopping me is insurance and security :(
I've got a cooler reader and it's great, if I was getting a new one now i'd go for a kindle, but only for the ease of buying books. Every time I got to get an ebook it takes ages to find it, whilst the amazon store had it and usually cheeper too.
I'd take a look at the kindle info as I thought...
I've had an idea, but not sure how feasible it is... dose anyone know what wires are freely avalible behind the dash though? I'm looking for a battery feed ideally inline with the cigarette lighter, or something else that will switch off when the engine dose, but to the top right of the dash...
My brother bought some from PC World for his PS3 at home. Says thhey work really well, as before the wireless signal was awful.
From what i can remember they are these: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/devolo-dlan-highspeed-ii-homeplug-network-kit-03323575-pdt.html
With the other one on the...
Just found a way to remove the polish from the trim. Thought about it a while ago after seeing the JML magic eraser being advertised, but was a bit too expensive to try just from an idea, but saw the same thign as busy bear sponge eraser in the £1 shop today for 3. Rub over the trim and all the...
Hey any further reviews on the cases mentioned above from one one who got them?
Finally decided to get a desire instead of a streak, as it's a more sensible and robust, and i'm clumsy so the streak screen wouldn't last 5 mins with me!
was looking at the xylo case that tim mentioned, did you get...
Been look at this, as might be needed if i change to Vodafone for a new contract next month, but how did you get it for a tenner? I found them online but it says £50 for one
the key will pop off easy as anythign, just use a flat head screwdriver and pull it cleanly off, then push it back on afterwards straight.
Depends what laptop it is too, on my one if you take all the keys off you can remove the membrane that connects the keys and clean that too. bit of water...
not cherry pop, but milk would be the best bet! any milk type product leave a film thats impossible to get off from the keyboard film bit that connects the keys, i know as due to yogurt I now don't have a ctrl key on my (server) netbook! Had to learn Vim to get around the key
the non-sport front bumper, it's awful, never actually cleaned it properly, there's tar stuck to it that i can't get off, and to make it worse my knee cane just to get down that low, if i try to stay crouched longer than a min my knees give out and i just fall back (on to the now wet road due to...
Lol would it be too cheeky to take the new one for a test drive and try and get it checked whilst your on it! Remember when i was looking at mine i was encouraged to go for anywhere between 30mins to an hour to check it out!
So I hate all things apple but have a 4th gen classic for throwing around in my car (running rockbox so I can play ogg :-) )
When i'm at home I use Rythmbox for transfering music, but at work I'm on windows, can I drag and drop music on to it and the FW find it all and index it, or do I have...
yea, not sure really then. mine was like it, and was fixed by either the ball joints or the wishbones as i replace them all at the same time. I also got the anti roll bar links changed then too, maybe that helped
I think the prob my mum was having was the fdfriction between the two surfaces...
yea, she told me to do it, but i stayed clear until i got the ball joins and stuff replaced, and it went so never tried it!
tbh the car is mostly rotten anyways, it's a 4x4 on a farm, a bit more damage insn't gonna hurt it!
I wonder if AG rubber and Vinyl spray would do the same though?
I filled in the form and got an email saying the local place would contact me to arrange it, but still not heard anything from them. Just wanted to find otu if they have any slots in Bath before i leave on holiday next week, I'm guessing they wont though
I've applied for a check, will be interesting to see what they say is wrong, as it passed the MOT test a month ago with only one advisory of lots of tiny chips on the wind scree (like i needed to be told that, i can see them everytime i drive it)
ah brilliant, looking forwards to having no work for a week and a proper yard to give it a good wash in!
Looking the info about the water though, i think some time last year my parents went off the mains water and we only use water pumped from our bore hole, that shouldn't matter should it? i...
i've found deals witonline before on o2 and then rang o2 direct and they matched it with none of the silly cashback mess i'd have needed to do with the other deal!
Dose this just mean let the water flop out of the end of the hose pipe then, without putting you finger over the end to actually jet it?
Going home for a weekend in September and going to clean the car with the hose pipe for the first time ever, I think my arms will like it more than the usual...
right so just done some calaculations,
I've done 17kmiles this year
if i take my average mpg to be 60mpg (i've been above nad below that at times)
that means I've used 1275L
if i take 45mpg for a 1.2 (I don't know if this is the actual value though)
I'd have used 1700L
So i've saved 425L of...
:-s really I always put all mine into the wash with what ever I've most recently bought for washing my clothes, usually some sort of gel based washing stuff. Is this wrong then?
bet there will be even more of a contrast between those and the individual ones at the end! It either went dark quick, or we were standing out there for hours!
depends if you follow the service book, renault recommend 2 years between services iirc, i'm gonna change oil and filters soon though, it's been a year and i don't really want to risk the 2 years!
I agree with the above, reset my trip yesterday, went from high 60's to mid 60's, then driving back country lanes dropped to high 50's then when down another 1mpg just driving to work this morning as i had to stop at 2 roundabouts and a set of traffic lights... It all depends on how you drive...
lol, yea, tbh there are people who can get 70+mph on there, my high 50's/low 60's aren't great in comparison, but i'm happy, had to borrow my parents 4x4 until i got this and got about 12mpg tops (i did about 400 miles :-s)! apparently the 80 is better the 100 is worse, and the 106hp with...
:-s how big is a 1.2 tank i always assumed it'd be the same 10gallons that the dci's got
anyways my 65 gets 650-700 miles a tank easy, reasonably heavy driving, i always forget and accelerate heavy to the speed limit and then remember and back off, also 70+ in 4th sounds quite nice....
Hey great evening, thanks guys!
For those I was following home,I got 59.5mph so i didn't quite manage to get it double! between the railway bridge and the traffic lights to the A33 i was bouncing between 59.8 and 60.1 like a ball, never seen it shift so quickly!
Also hope you were turning off...
ah i've looked at the bank stuff, not sure if i can add it to a Natwest student account though, might have to ring up and see. heard it can be quite hard to get anything out of the companies that the banks go through though too, but this is just rumours, not entirely concrete
