Just to add the DCIs tax is going down to £20 next year aswell.
Get the 65 if your purely looking for MPG, get the 80 bhp if you want a bit of poke aswell.
Can you hear the motor doing anything atall? If not - Check all the fuses in the interior fuse board, sometimes it pops the UCH fuse rather than the window regulator fuse, wierd I know.
Expect to pay £55-60, they're flipping expensive but the grip over a cheapy is unreal.
You can destroy a set in under 5k easily, they're very soft aswell.
See what the immobiliser light is doing when you turn the ignition on, if its goes out its okay, if it doesn't first thing todo is take the key apart and blow all the dust out of it.
If the light goes off - cut off the starter motor actuator terminal and replace it, or just clean it.
The lights got a seperate feed, if it works the fag lighter but not the satnav are you sure its not the satnav fuse (think thats what Matt meant too)
Clean the connections inside with a small wire brush - with it unplugged!!
Depending whereabouts you are I can lend you the 2 locking pins you need for the K9K. Crank has a pin aswell as the cam - the pump doesn't have a pin, just has a mark on the pin & a mark on the belt. I'd say doing a straight belt change is as easy as a 1.2, but doing the water pump means you've...
Yeah after that bumpy bit you can take the rest of the corners at speed. I remember when it flooded the family in the Jag didn't look happy!
Theres a rear fog flasher relay in the back now after the old bill told me to take them out my headlights :o Did sweep the traffic out the way quite well.
Yeah that was me mate I thought I clocked a red clio near the dual carriageway going towards Dunchurch. Ring sticker is from a trip last year.
Does smoke like a trooper now, its on 103k and its been mapped think its a mixture of that as I cleaned the EGR valve and K&N yesterday morning.
Cars a DCI with a remap so nowt special - never get many RS's in Rugby that are driven quick I wasn't sure if you where really. Not the car really I just fly up there as I know Leicester road really well.
Yeah on the M1 then upto Leicester. What you upto in Rugby?
Yeah its not a 172 its a DCI with Xenons and its black lol - I saw you at the tesco roundabout but werent sure if you where playing or not.
Then towards Lutterworth I think you went?
Forget making a coupe - after 5 years they still couldn't stop the axle bushes falling out the Laguna2.
Also giving Renaults current quality of electrics I wonder how good the new GT's 4 wheel steering will be?
Thats an 80 Intercooler, look for a 100 they're about 15% more efficient (so I'm told) Not as tall but 3 times as thick and not blocked by the front crossmember.
Have a look on DCI office I'm sure someone did a guide on there, you'll need a minimum of 2 pipes and 4 fitting clips.
Keep cleaning them mate, if they're that bad get down a scrap yard and cut the block plugs out of a good one (not Mk2 Ph1), leave a few inches of wire and replace them.
Small picks are probably best and old injector nozel cleaners.
Count the teeth on your drums then get down the scrappy and get one of a 1.2/1.4/1.5/1.6 and count them.
Im 95% sure all non Cliosport drums are the same - the rear disc'd Clios use a totally different system to the rear drum'd Clios, its not just a case of swapping axles over (unless you want...
I've never seen the point in putting sub 2.0 litre Saxos/VTRS/Clios against 500bhp+ Evos etc anyway. Do the drivers themselves choose what group to go in? - As in Novice/Intermediate/Expert?
Sounds bang on to me - Just doesn't seem smooth atall. This bloke seems to be anchoring up 50 yds...
Yeah as Ben said I was quite lucky to find a DCI with Xenons and Climate to be honest.
I've got a mic in with the c/c sensor for the telephone but I've never seen a Mk2 Clio with it all fitted.
ESP on the 1.6 and DCI 100 were quite rare too I think.
