I prefer the interior of the Clios but then there's more room inside the civics. The Clios are relatively more torquey for everyday driving but then the civic is faster when you're balls out nailing it. Civic is better quality build overall really but then it costs more too. The exteriors of...
I think I'm quite an economical driver when I want to be, though admittedly it's kind of out of your hands anyway travelling at constant speed on open motorway. But I never achieved over 40mpg doing 90mph in my ph2 172. It was a little while ago now but I used to do shitloads of motorway...
I'd say the age of the average owner is coming down as the price of second hand examples has significantly decreased with time. I remember when I first got mine, it was mainly middle aged men driving ph2 172's. Now they're really quite affordable to most people. So I don't know about owners...
Just think if he's willing to spend £6500 on that car, look at what less than £1000 extra would get him.

Know what I mean? After a bit of haggling I reckon £7200? Extra £700 that's what I'd be thinking. You can keep your 172 with...
If you're disciplined and you stick to 70 on the motorway you will easily see over 40mpg for that section of your journey, returning a combined total over 35mpg IMO.
PLus sticking to 70 in a clio means you can hear yourself think.
LOL, just replied in your for sale thread and then saw this! could you tell me what my car is up to right now? I can't get on eBay in work during daytime hours as they block it to entice the dayshift workers into actually doing some work :)
I don't understand how they can charge £250 for an arch liner?! I swear an arch liner for a 172 is about £20 or something from Renault. It's just a flimsy bit of injection moulded plastic isn't it? Only there really to protect internal gubbins from s**t being thrown off your tyres.
I can only assume it's a work in progress. What's with the horrific shutlines of the passenger door? It looks like they've done a gullwing conversion and bodged it.
I hope so. I've been happy with the way it's been going so far. I just hope it doesn't go dead at the end. There looks like there's at least two guys who are seriously interested so if they're both on at the end and get a bit excited, who knows?! :) I don't want to jinx it, but from how it's...
Yeah, I did put on the ad about completing the deal within the UK to directly deter that kind of BS! :)
Price is holding at £3000 but number of watchers is slowly going up, so unless they're all from ClioSport just seeing how it goes, I should be in for a few more bids just yet I hope!
So someone offers him £3500. Would that be a ridiculous price for that car? I don't think so. His car would probably be worth £6000 without the crash you reckon? So at almost half price I'd say that's ok?
Might be worth haggling for £3250 because of the door. If it's a decent repair you're...
About 28-29mpg average in mine. See 32mpg on the motorway doing about 80mph. 35mpg is about as good as it gets but cos of the long gearing and torque it's only a small drop in economy to drive a good deal faster in 5th.
Next car is lighter and has 6 gears so am hoping I'll see better figures!
It's up to £3000! Get in! It's been on less than a day! I was feeling a little worried when it was at a £1 this morning but I'm feeling much better already! I just hope whoever wins it actually pays for it. I've never sold anything of this value on eBay but I hear it can be a problem.
Re: E46 BMW 330i SE - £1 start with no reserve or "buy it now" for £540
Can a mod change the title so the Buy It Now reads £5450 please? Thanks.
Bidding is up to £310, I'm into triple figures, cmon!
Re: E46 BMW 330i SE - £1 start with no reserve or "buy it now" for £540
That is a real possiblity, however at this point I don't have the time to do that. If I'm honest I don't want to take that gamble either. I do think it's genuinely a tough time out there selling a car at the minute. I'm...

As listed in the cars for sale section. I've placed the deposit on my new car so this needs to go.
Happy Bidding!
I'm located in Wiltshire (ad says Manchester but I'm trying to...
You'll get bored on ANY car in 5 years! Some of us are just that way, you'll have to learn to accept it! I'm pretty sure on a clio V6 the interiror and handling will be the first things that start bugging you. I've decided I don't ever want to get finance on a car that lasts longer than three...

Bidding starting at just £1 with £240 buy it now.
(£10 postage applies to anyone requiring item to be posted rather than collection in person)
I bought my old 172 when it was a year old on 16k miles. I had loads of problems in the first year I owned it but got them all sorted, then no problems at all in the second year. I think maybe just some people don't look after their cars and when you buy them they're fooked.
I had a megane...

^has a demo of it's capabilities. Plays N-Gage games aswell as having 8GB memory for MP3's and has 3.5mm jack for headphones. Better looking phone than N95, smaller I think and none of the crappy applications that bog the N95 down.
I renewed my contract this week, waiting for my brand spanking new Nokia N81 to arrive. I'm happy with the phone I have already though so I'll be selling the N81 as soon as it arrives.

It's smaller than the viewty. I'll be looking for £250.
ebuyer have the 8800gt listed on their stock list now. None in stock but it shows they're on order coming in in the next few days. Available for preorder now. I think I might get one too.
If your girlfriend isn't going to be playing games or doing anything a bit crazy like image processing, she might aswell just get whatever the cheapest laptop is she can find with the size screen she's after. If all she's doing is browsing the internet, doing word processing, watching films and...
Having a large number of movies on your pc won't really affect boot-up time unless you don't quite have enough hard memory to run vista properly so it's relying on virtual memory (hard-drive space). This will be even slower or not even possible if you have very little free space on your hard-disk.
