RE: jbennett1375 I'm not arsed mate. Next time I build a desktop I will probably buy a genuine copy of Vista. But I have used copied versions of XP in the past and certainly won't hesistate to keep using the same copy of Vista when/if I were to upgrade my computer.
I wouldn't go so far as to...
Is it possible to password protect a wireless network if you need to gain access to it with a PnP network card used for a games console. I've left my parents network without password protection as otherwise I don't think the router will let my little brother's xbox connect.
I thought it was only Vista that makes any kind of note of the hardware paired with the copy of windows and I thought even in that case it only recognises it as a new system if you use a new motherboard.
Ethics and details it turns out are all irrelevant in this case because he's not even...
I thought the whole 64-bit thing hadn't really kicked off at all. Isn't 64-bit pretty redundant unless you're using 64-bit programs? (of which I thought there are still hardly any).
...and with regards to Mike having a problem with continuing using your legitimately purchased copy of Windows...
The acer utilities and drivers can be downloaded from their website. But with the rate of change in laptop technology, I wouldn't rely on them keeping the stuff on there. I needed it for mine and it took me bloody ages to find the right files after browsing through endless pages and ftp...
That is pretty special! lol
I had my first contract renewal this month as I'd been on payg until a year ago. I'm with O2. They gave me:
400 mins + 500 texts + any free phone (I chose Nokia N81) for £20/month
As soon as the N81 arrived in the post I sold it on eBay for £250. Which means as...
Simply.
f**king.
Awesome.
Out of interest, how does your car get those holograms? Mine has a couple? Is it amateur pc'ing gone wrong? Thing is my car is really shiny and has this hologram which I thought meant it had been pc'd at some point in it's life, but then it's covered in swirls...
Exciting as it may be, I've still not had any bids in 3 days. BUT yet another 2 watchers have been added tonight. Some people definitely keeping eyes on it for tomorrow night.
The nearest car I could find to mine got one £3k bid right at the start and then nothing until the last day when it went up to £3750. I'll be a bit gutted if that's all it goes for tbh. Not really worth my time, especially as I'm now having to get the bloody train to essex to get my new car...
1st phone - Nokia 5110
2nd phone - Nokia 3210
3rd phone - Panasonic GD87 (Cost me over £200 at the time! First and last time I actually give a f**k about spending loads of money on a phone)
4th phone - Nokia 1100 (I got fucked off with crappy phone technnology being too clever for...
They play exactly the same format of music, mp3's. Ipod has tighter restrictions on how you upload/download music to and from the ipod, is more expensive but on the plus side it looks better and is arguably unrivalled in how it's fit-for-purpose.
Has anyone here got a flame red 172 with factory satnav, registration plate starting MA03? Used to be my car, just interested to see if anyone on here bought it.
Widescreen tv's are 16:9 ratio but proper cinema format is more widescreen than that still, so no, unless you change the dvd player or tv settings to chop the sides off and blow the picture up, you'll never get rid of the black lines completely.
You wouldn't buy any Clio other than a V6 for posing purposes though would you really? If we're really honest, people don't tend to be overwhelmed when you tell them you have a 172/182. Fair or not, it's just the way it is!
IMO, depending on the ability of the two drivers and what kind of roads you're on, other cars you could either win or lose against are:
Civic/Integra Type-R
Fiesta ST
Mini Cooper S
Mazda RX-8
BMW 330
Astra VXR
Impreza WRX
Audi TT
For straightline speed, the cooper S is the closest match...
For someone who gets bored of cars, modifying is never the way forward! Money is only lost on modifying cars so a complete waste of money unless you're going to keep it for a decent period of time IMO. If you're someone like myself who gets bored of cars fairly quickly, then put the extra money...
