mmmm, I'm only 17 but tried with 1 years no claims on a saxo vtr, added my mum and everything and elephant quoted me 4000. I'm in a pretty low risk area but i suppose it must differ a lot with age, as with all insurance!
I would'nt go through the hassle with confused, whenever i look for insurance i have a look at the website and get bored having to fill in that many forms for what i found to be a small saving
When an insurance company asks how may miles you do annually, does this matter? I have a mate with a vtr who has told his insurance company he does 1000 miles a year and this explains why he has it so cheap! 1600 fully comp. In the event of a crash is he screwed?
Not thinking of doing this just...
Also if you have a cheap car you honestly will not care what happens to it. Also unless you buy something truly terrible know one will laugh at you. Of all my mates only 2 have new cars, one was bought for him and he gets mocked for it and the other one bought his.
Drive a $hitter mate, they are more fun. I picked my 106 up for 130 quid while I'm saving for something nicer, will have a years no claims hopefully come april so can afford something nicer then.
