Instead of fat chicks I use skinny birds. It's no different to fat birds because they're thinner, hence smaller, hence you can fit more in
I did run out of bin bags and carpet last time though :(
Definitely prioritise RAM over processor speed. It's not very often the CPU gets maxed out anyway so you wouldn't really notice the performance difference much.
I'd definitely recommend getting a solid state hard drive though. My MBP opens PhotoShop a good 3 or 4 seconds faster than the display...
Cute PDF is quite good. I used to use one called PDF995, which was brilliant but it's not 100% free anymore - it pops up adverts unless you pay a couple of dollars to register it.
I think they can do some diagnostics, but TBH they've probably seen / heard of most problems a million times already, and will just replace it rather than argue.
I have an Omex ECU and the Ph1 throttle conversion. I also still have the standard ECU because it's controlling some other functions of the car - not sure what.
Anyway, my advice is don't do it. The cable operated throttle is the only thing that lets my car down. It's very jerky and has a...
They only suit black cars IMO. Still worth having for the weight saving if you can get one cheap enough, but personally I'd spray it the same colour as the rest of the car so it doesn't look chavvy.
I always import them into iPhoto, then click on the "Last import" option in the menu on the left.
You can then do CMD + A to select them all, then copy them into a folder somewhere. I know this duplicates the photos but unless you've got gigs upon gigs worth it's always a good idea to have a...
I don't know him myself but as I say, I've seen it about quite a lot. Sounds nice too :)
I don't live in Sutton anymore so I probably won't see him/it from now on.
If you mean the red one driven by the dude with the Afro then yes, but it was way back when my car was bog standard. It obliterated me, couldn't believe how quick it was. I've seen it knocking about quite a lot though, and it's ALWAYS on the boost. Must spend half its time at the petrol station.
Meh. I'll be going up to 1.2 bar soon enough. Only 1 bar ATM so I'll hopefully get close to or over 300.
Would like to see the OP's car though. Any pics knocking about?
Not trying to thread hijack BTW :p
The lambda sensor was knackered before the work was done, which is probably why it had a low "before" figure. The lambda sensor was replaced with a brand new one at the same time as the de-cat was re-fitted.
Porkie, the dash lights are only a temporary problem. An update will be made available...
Just checked the weather report for tomorrow. Apparently it's going to be cloudy all morning but it doesn't say it'll rain. Looks like it should brighten up tomorrow afternoon.
^ Just in case anyone has doubts about the weather.
193bhp IIRC, but it did under-perform when we got there making only 154bhp. It had a knackered lambda sensor and O2 sensor though, plus he still had the cat on the car when he arrived.
Can't remember what the final torque figure was. He's got copies of the graphs so they'll probably make an...
