Is that guy able to do anything to strengthen the standard gearbox?
Mine's still fine, but it'd give me extra peace of mind if the box was stripped and rebuilt with stronger components.
It varies from place to place. Round here it's generally about £35 but a lot of places tend to have offers on occasionally. I saw one at a back street garage near my parents' house offering an air-con leak test, re-gas and filter replacement for £20 when you have any other work done by them.
After the last 2 days I'm actually thinking about having it installed in my house. I would never have bothered moving in here if I'd known it was this hot in summer.
Very unlucky mate. I had a similar thing happen to me a few weeks ago except not quite as bad.
My windscreen cracked on the WAY BACK from the MOT test centre having just passed! Quite lucky TBH. Even better was that Autoglass came out the next day and replaced it in half an hour :)
I've now tried this. It's really good I have to say. It's a bit weird to get used to at first coming from Grabit but it's actually very easy to use and works very well. Thanks for the heads up :D
Yes, I can. I have one (although not quite 300bhp yet).
Contrary to popular opinion, it doesn't destroy gearboxes either. I don't know where people get that ridiculous idea from TBH.
They are nowadays. Most of the newer MS exams that are being undertaken connect you to a virtualised environment out on a server farm somewhere. Instead of getting asked questions, you're given a scenario that you have to configure / rectify. After you commit the work you've done, a snapshot of...
To be fair, I'm sure EtherChannels aren't covered on the CCNA? I don't remember being asked a single question on the subject when I took mine. There's a lot on trunking but I don't remember anything specific to EtherChannels.
Although not knowing what an EtherChannel is is a bit retarded when...
You are right, but it's human nature to want more. Nobody wants to go to work for free even if it's the best job in the world.
You can live comfortably on 30k. You can even live comfortably on minimum wage if you work enough hours to cover your living costs. What I'm saying is that if someone...
I can understand where people are coming from when they say "I wouldn't get out of bed for X amount". If a person values their skill set and abilities correctly then there's no reason for them to work for less than a certain amount.
That said, if I was in a position where I couldn't find...
3rd line support jobs at our company generally pay between £24k and £35k depending on experience and qualifications.
When I started doing 3rd line support here I was getting £25,400. Getting my CCNA: Security and CCSP pushed me to the top of the salary bracket. I'm now a couple of grand above...
Another must-have app for Usenet users - Unison.
It's the best Usenet client I've found for the Mac so far, but if anybody has any better ones let us know :)
Re: Taking a clio of the road??
If you're worried about it being broken into or vandalised, some insurance companies offer "static car insurance" policies for cars that are declared SORN. The idea is that you aren't insured to drive it on the road, but are still covered for any acts of theft or...
They're awesome aren't they.
I wanted a 13" MBP but I just had to have an i7 processor, so went for the 15" instead.
Best computer I've ever used. Fact.
Nah. Chassis intrusion won't stop it from booting. Something else is definitely wrong.
Download the Dell Diagnostics CD and boot from that. It'll flag up whatever's wrong.
LOL. If it was a copy and paste job it'd probably be explained much better than that.
I know how it works, as I'm sure you do. Explaining it is much harder than "getting it". :p
I'm not saying it's heavy. I'm just saying it's one of the things Renault left off the car to save weight.
A lot of little things add up to make a big difference.
