Yup, last guy sold the morrette's but kept the wanky bumper, just got a new bumper so will be fitted in a week or so.
Rage the willy is 449 Sports blue.
I bought the willy with the plate on it, but didnt get it as part of the deal! Wasnt that fussed as it just seems random, lol, maybe if it said 449, or like Cat said, the number of the car.
Ive had the white one for years, was gonna sell it and have the willy as a comfortable everyday car...
Good news fella, what state of tune is the volvo lump in? Wasnt tempted to go down the f7r route?
That Uno is mintness, seriously...drop me a line when you come to sell it....
Cool project...although I cant help thinking you would have been better off starting with a mk1 16v/williams as you would be looking at a LOT less than 880kg...
Thats awesome, like a 197 version of mine! Thats one of the first new cars that has tempted me, it rocks!
Shame they havnt got rid of more weight and given it a tiny bit more power...
Yeah its the tweeks fog scoop, takes a bit of 'skimming' to fit tho.
Tom, I know it would be monster torque...hmmm, maybe ill start looking round for some cheap bodies and an omex, lol
Cant justify it man, was the tb'd one really that much quicker than the 'nana? Im sure this would run a high 13 as it is...
Bendee get a decent heatgun (thanks Bass, lol) and a solid scraper and it comes away, then just use white spirit to get rid of the left over brown stains (oo-eer)
After a bottle of coke exploded and pissed everywhere inside it finally gave me the motivation to get rid of the all the rank tar sound deadening etc and get some pics etc:
Pics aint the best and the wheels look invisible, lol
Could you own a Standard willy dude? lol, within a few days it'll be stripped to the bone and camm'd, lol. This one does have racelogic traction control tho, thinking of taking it off and putting it on the hybrid...
Fred, Lepson's did the refurb, nice people and top service!
Mileage is on 97k, history is immense on it tho, was originally won by an accountant of a Renault race team...
Seems to be a rare site round here these days...After a whole day of cleaning (It needed it after the goodwood 'carpark' /fitting refurb'd wheels and changing to 172 cup springs, some pics of the williams...
New numberplates to follow then its up for sale.... :(
Your point being? My hybrid is 185 bhp, over 150 lbft and weighs 880ks...AND both the power and tourque hold on for most of the rev range, unlike a diesel which has come and gone like a virgin on prom night :rasp:
