Well as a truck driver i use a pda/gps bundle cost £300 and i can play games and play films/mp3 on it too, also downloaded the free speed camera software so advanced warning of Gatsos (not 100% accurate but pretty close)

I am getting about 28mpg mk2 172 drive pretty quick though

I thought the CTR was quicker had a play with one in the lower rev ranges and my 172 seemed quicker of the mark but once the CTR came on cam it was catching pretty quick is this about right?? Also would expect a Honda to be more reliable?

Bosses WRX had a tracker but they never found it, like most security devices it increases the chance of keeping/getting the car back but if a proffesional theif wants your car he will have it :(

Well went to Bradford in the car today and the Gearbox mount snapped so i limped back to the dealership and kicked off, The mechanic was also fed up becouse he had asked them to check this and it should have been spotted again when they changed the box Presume this is the problem i had before...

Only happens on Left hand sharp(ish) bends at any spped but when youre turning in quick sounds like a knocking driveshaft etc coming from the front end but vibrates badly through the pedals so far its had new gearbox, 2 new driveshafts suspension mod they say its safe though...

I posted a message a while back about a knocking noise and the fact they keep changing driveshafts etc etc but getting nowhere, Well now its out of Warranty but there still trying to sort it (reported whilst in Warranty) Anyway ive just picked up the car after 2 weeks and they have put a new...

***UPDATE*** Just got home to get a message from Renault they have decided it needs a new gearbox (i suggested this and was told it was NOT the gearbox) its covered fully under warranty which is good but its going to take an extra 5 days(ish) to arrive from France

Renault have just taken my car back in for a week again!!! to fix a bad knocking noise when driving fast round left hand bends, So far they have changed both driveshafts done the suspension mod they keep saying its safe but havnt a clue whats doing it!!! And to make it worse they gave me a 1.4...

Is there any way round this? Or is it new head unit time? Thanks

Does the standard 172 head unit have any pre outs for the Amp? Had a rockford system in my last car which i wanted to fit in the clio, but dont want to change the head unit yet if possible?

I took the front end of a Vectra off with my truck :oops: There was no one about and it took me a while to find the owner so not everyone drives off!!! Saying that though your better getting there asap as there are some scum around They were suprised i didnt leg it!!! Hope it all gets sorted...

Well picked car up at dinner and they have said its the driveshaft, but it only does it when driving very hard which i told them thats what it was built for ;) There replacing next week and theres no extra cost for wear so hopefully this will sort it Thanks for all the help in this and the...

sharp bends under power but the strut fix seems to have helped a bit, its going back in 1/2 hour so i can take the guy out in it :devilish:

Sound Similar to mine but mine knocks when driving enthusiasticly round left bends will mention to the guy when i take it back :)

Renault have had my car all day today under warranty to fix my bad knocking noise when cornering hard left, Picked the car up and was told they had done the normal strut top fix under warranty (still cost me a tenner though) so engine warmed good left hand bend.... Still bloody there :@ Booked...
