I know a lot of people dislike them, and a lot of people Like them. People moaning that they are skittish etc blar blar so before I send my £££ off for a set of GHA's what I'd like to know is from the peole who have used them what spring rate did you select, what style of driving you do and how...
Nick... who gives a flying F**K what anybody thinks of YOUR car?
It's your car, so your rules. If people don't like it tough s**t... about 90% of people would never say it to your face just on fourms and behind your back.
Do your own thing even if people hate it or love it...
After buying the bloody thing and it running w**k due to GDI's unability to set the crank trigger correctly it's now finally sorted and running like a dream.
It made 216hp @ fly and 185.2hp @ the wheels not bad for an owd shitter on 116k
Which I'm more than happy with in honesty, wayne...
Soft arse, I would of taken a grinder and welder and saved £80 and put that towards something else lol :P
Glad your all sorted matey, and its about 15 times easier to do it that way if you don't have a welder to hand, I need to buy some seats again and do the same bleh!!!!
You cut the OEM seat mounts out :D and make your own setup. Just make sure your welds are upto it as I would hate to go through a window still harnessed into my a seat lol. There are a few ways around it but it involves being a bit pikey and people on cliosport will think your the devil for not...

;)
with love from a northern monkey, shame im not from down there or I would of picked them up myself. :(
Two ways really...
OMP sell a floor mount which bolts in and your side mounts bolt to that Or you can weld some seat runners into the car and bolt the side mounts to that instead.
Its either about £200 for the OMP jobbies or two pieces of box section steel and a welder and about 30 mins...
Throttle pos sensor died a death and caused a whole load of running problems, I'm running a tps off a k series atm as it was only a fiver, but I've had to fit it to the left side of the bodies not the right, so I need to find a tps which will fit on the right and turn clockwise
On my clio :D
Crank sensor was playing up so I took it off and cleaned it up but had to replace it, turns out its from a ford focus :D
Now the TPS is dead so I'm going to use something from a MG TF 160 as I refuse to pay £90 from jenvey :O
My omex 600 loom has a two wires tracing back into the standard clio loom?
Its a pink and white wire from the crank sensor which splits and two wires then run into the oem loom. You can disconnect the wires and it will still run the same.
A set of rear coilovers with a 1.9' spring to the rear of any mk2 172 phs 1? I know AST are coilover rear units but they are upside down on the phs 1 setup. I want full adjustability on the front and rear but I'm not willing to pay over 1.5k on a suspension setup so I'm having a custom set of...
I'm not sure if that many people would of played about with offsets apart from the more focused lads, but has anybody tried an et30 7J 15" wheel on phs1.
An interior to me is:
Anything which is inside the car other than the controls. Ie Dash, carpet, roof lining, seating, seat brackets, door cards, boot trim, excess metal in door's removed, excess metal in boot removed, so for me to strip a car it would basically have nothing more than two...
My mates going over on his gixxer in a pack of 6, they are all riding there and back. I would go but I was taken out by a bellend in a car 4 months ago. Poor zx6r b1h :( so I'm bikeless until the insurance pay out.
And all this its safer in a car malarky, you can die anywhere at any time...
Seeing as clio 172 phs1's have reached a pretty bargin price these days at around £750 - £1500. I've come to the point where I'm unsure if its worth stripping etc.
From what i can see a lot of the phs1's are being bought cheaply and used for track and play toys and will have their interiors...
3 pages on such a light damaged car... lol
Go and buy the parts your self and use some common sense and panel it up, then get to a few bodyshops and get a few quotes for the prep/paint. You could easy repair that for peanuts if you use your head and dont use the excuse you dont know anything...
Its a proper gay colour that stu, its bad enough you bought a gay little clio but a gay little clio in gay blue.
At least its not a gay silver clio phs1 172 on itbs I guess lol
