I read somewhere ( i think it was on an insurance doc) that even 0800 numbers were not free from mobiles. Might be different on your network etc.
Just remembered; My old dial up connection started with 0845 and that wasn't free from a landline.
I've always wired mine so that they come on with the ignition on only. No ignition. no power. except for the constant trickle for the memory feed. Saves a lot of this hassle.
My old rocco, at cribbs causway meet a few years back. I don't have it anymore but I kept the uber rare delorean style euro lights for it, they were so hard to get hold of.
A few that aint mine:
spotted @ the ring!
Either this is a typo or they fetch shocking money.
My godfather had a lime green AAR replica a few years back in the states, he also owned one when he lived over here, I've always wanted a cuda any engine would do but this Hemi cuda on ebay here is going for a cool £250 grand!
b.i.n. price of...
VW have given that squinty look to the front end of the new scirocco. It looks less bug eyed and cute.
Would be better if it was fabricated as part of the bonnet with the Avantime vents on the caf side.
You'll be spending a lot more on fuel.
I've sold my 1.6 clio but at one stage I decided to go to a few garages to see what they would give me for it so I had a fair idea what I'd get if it didnt sell privately. Some garages said they were not interested in taking small cars unless they were...
The cambelt timing will be a factor that effects most of those symptoms.
The cambelt is the timing belt, the timing denotes how the engine fires, the timing of the firing of the cylinders is what dictates the performance and smooth running of the engine.... A lousey bit of rubber is entrusted...
That's what I was thinking, that maybe the timings been knocked out perhaps if the cambelt got caught briefly as it got flung around, in some cases the cambelt can chew up whats left of the aux belt, if you've avoided loosing the cambelt your lucky.
I supose the easiest way of telling is to...
My 1.6 did the same. It either let out one long beep, or like you say, goes nuts it you open the door or boot, it would make the noise usually right after unlocking after locking too quickly.
It's just a sensitive alarm and needs a sec between disabling and then opening a door. I always plipped...
Matt black paint on an old muscle car is cool, on this thing it would be a pain in the ass because it's too clean looking.
Can you imagine leaving this parked up in town and coming back to find someone had whacked their greasy kebab on the roof. Within a few months the oils in your hands would...
indeed.
Anyone who would even consider spending that amount of money when they have lost their job is not responsible enough to own a house if that's how best to handle redundancy.
I've just sold my car because my partner was made redundant. In my mind that was £1700 more I can add to my...
Looks like a nice place to go on hols.
The shots are nicely composed and well ballenced with exception to the third shot which looks a little crooked to me as the boat looks like it's floating in the air and the horizon line is askew. One reason I think is that the branch is in the shot...
I wouldnt even bother. Unless you know someone who runs a scrap yard and can get you all the bits for next to nothing and then have a mate who'd do the spraying and fitting for you I would steer well clear of doing that, especially to a 115k car as the work involved is probably more than the car...
I'd imagine (I may be wrong) that the front panel would want changing for mounting the headlamps and I am guessing you'd need arch liners as well.
God knows if everything will bolt on like for like as I would also guess the mounting brakets may not line up.
yes you will need to change the bonnet.
I would 'hope' he has learnt his lesson.
I did read a few post back that he was thinking his folks might help him out with the repair cost, personally my parents would have told me to get stuffed if I asked them for help with a car I'd damaged whilst showing off.
Have a good holiday but...
My Powerbook's spec is 1Ghz processor and 512mb memory it's actually a 2003 model. I use it to produce work on Photoshop CS1 if I have to travel with work. It's been a solid and reliable machine and is still capable of doing what I want. If anything i would probably be advised to change the...
All new Mac's will be shipped with OSX 10.5.3 (or poss when you place an order right now 10.5.4) but all up-dates upto 10.5.9 are downloadable for free.
It dosent really matter what you buy, but honestly, I'm happy with my Mac's. I've spent over £5k on buying mac's in my life time and I've...
Always loved the RS500 (well pretty much any cosworth really) I remember the Texaco touring cars when I was younger, a friend had a remote control version.
voiture de Renault sport merveilleuse!!
I watched c'etait un rendevous again today. The last time I was in France was about 16 years ago. I would love to live in Paris.
I got a descent price. Initially I advertised for £1950 but people just didn't want to spend that on a car with 87k on the clock so I got £1700 in the end. Not bad really, I'm happy with that as I remember Giles was trying for fair a while to sell his RSi and tbh his was probably nicer condition...
She was one of the good un's so will make a good car for the new owner, a young lad of 17, he's gonna be stoked it when his parents rock up in it for him! Still looking lovely from it's last coat of 476s.
It probably won't happen for a while but I'll be coming back to a Clio again, I always...
Just phoned up my insurers now to put my policy in 'stasis' as there are only 2 weeks left on the policy so there would be no point cashing in for the last 2 weeks or canceling and loosing 11.5 months NCD. It took a heated discussion for the guy to get his head around this:
I wanted my NCB for...
Oh well the RSi Mk2 ph1 had gone to a new owner who I hope will look after her..
Had to make the decision to sell a few weeks back as my fiancee was made redundant, she's an artist like me, but it's a hard industry to get work in so I waved my fair wells this evening, I loved owning that...
I like dipping my fingers in and having a good smear about.... with the collinte that is! I just apply by hand now, no risk of dropping your hands on a dirty floor and I'd be surprised if my skin scratched the body work.
my 2001 clio doesn't have any rust at all in the bonnet, then again it's alloy.
I cant believe how quickly yours has gone, it looks like something off a 1980's fiesta.
Damn shame about the car(s)
Man I just watched that vid, that must have been awful. Imagine what that would have been like for the other drivers going past too, he's so lucky to have escaped that.
