My Uniroyals melted at Bedford however it was 30+ that evening! Great for the winter but the tread is far too deep to push hard in the dry however all round good tyre for the money.
B14's are on Kam Racing in Cup fitment?
I think I'll go for the Cooksport option for now and see what I think. I've heard good reviews and the fact they're sold out until next month means they must be good!
I like the idea of adding an 'aftermarket' setup but I suppose it's not worth it if...
Ah ok, to be honest the H&R/B14's seem to be a good compromise. I'll be doing track days but I'll also be driving to work some days so a super firm setup really isn't what I want.
I did a little research into the B14's a while ago and they seem to get mixed reviews? For the money everyone seemed to push towards a H&R coilover setup.
I'm coming round to the idea of replacing all the shocks on my 182 Cup as the cars now done 86k on the standards.
It's currently got Sportline springs which I'm happy with however I'd like a firmer shock to reduce the body roll. As i've got the 60mm spacing it rules out a couple of shocks so...
Looking to sell my G/F's car as we've replaced it with an estate but have no idea what it's worth?

However recently eBay have changed the question/answer function so you can't send personal e-mail addresses. It's an obvious way to eliminate out of auction sales but it's easy enough to get round e.g. johnsmith at hotmail dot com (johnsmith@hotmail.com).
I've previously had an RS192 and it's slightly louder than standard with a nice note when you put your foot down. It's got a loud drone on motorway runs if you fit a decat but fine with the CAT. I now run a Yozza which is 92db static so a bit of an ear bleeder on long journeys....
The Rainsports have got to go, not a summer tyre at all!
It only seemed to be kicking smoke out at high revs but it was noticeable. Another lad that was out in a Focus ST also noticed and mentioned it when I came in. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about....
The Astra only started to pull away at around 130 so the Clio did me proud :)
Cornering on the rainsports is like having tyres made of jelly, they over heated after the first lap but they did take some abuse last Friday at Beford.
I'm looking for new shocks and a whiteline I think, I need to...
I've got the old cat back version and at around 70/80mph it's actually not that bad however as 50mph it's loud! I think if your just eating up miles on the motorway you'd be fine.
Haha, was me! The lad in the Astra was all over the shop so I backed off until I could get past safely. Your car handled really well, does the whiteline make a lot of difference?
Thanks both, so the best thing to do would be to use the top cap as a template then drill the holes? It's usually the simple jobs that end up being the hardest!
Has anyone got any experience of fitting Compbrake top mounts? I've got some to fit but I'm unsure on what size drill bit to use and also the correct position for them?
Apart from that I pressume it's just a case of taking the strut off as if I was changing the springs?
What sort of price are you looking at for these now? (not fishing for the exact price). I've always been very tempted by one but not looked into them for a while.
Haha yeah obviously cheap for a reason! I'be previously used Orange broadband before it turned into EE and had no issues but saying that I never had to contact the customer service dept.
Looking into a new broadband package and Talk Talk or EE are coming out the cheapest. They both offer unlimited usage which is a must however due to my location I know it'll be slow at 1.5mb/sec.
The max I'm looking to spend is £20 per month including line rental which both of the above offer...
