Anyone seen the BB clio turbo in max power, its got the cliosport sticker on the side! There is also a dodgy corsa with a V6 body kit!

Does anyone know a good website to find the performance figs for cars eg bhp, 0-60 etc Ive tried Parkers but they dont do all the models? Cheers Chris.

The 1.6s are very rare. I see more 172. Mine has all the same toys as the 172 but a electric sunroof as well. They are a lot quicker than you expect. mine has done 600 miles and its still getting quicker. They are quicker than the VTR , not the VTS or GTI. I had a 1.2 16v and it is way quicker...

Does anyone use super unleaded (97Ron) I tried it for the first time the other day. At first (40 mile) it made the engine very loud and it didnt run very well, but now it seems alot better What are everyone elses opinions of it?

I think it would be a good Idea to find out who has the most powerful clio in there class (Also should start a good debate!) So who has the most powerful: 1.2 1.4 1.6 1.8 2.0 3.0 So it doesnt matter if its a 1.4 16v or an rt, or if its a willy or a 172.

My new one is very heavy but not as heavy as my 1.2 16v was...........Strange!

I think parkers just put down what the manufacture tells them. All the clios seem to be at least 1 second faster than they have got down.

Is that how you get them from renault, separate?

You could go into production of them, Buy em from Renault, saw the top off, affix chicken wire, bobs your uncle, Sell them for more than a viper!!!

The mk1 and mk2 are the same engines arent they so Its possible to get it alot quicker?

I got the times off parkers and its got the 172 down and doing 0-60 in 7.9 What Im getting at is, is my 1.6 16v quicker than a vtr as there 0-60 is 9.3 (On parkers) you would think it would be because its only an 8v engine. BTW I did 12 sec in the 1.2 up a slight hill!!!

Would you say that the stated 0-60 time is right (9.6secs) Because my 1.2 16v had a stated time of 13 seconds but it was quicker to 60 than that?

I think they look ok and it all down to personal taste in the end!

Picked up my Super 1600 yesterday. Its so much better than the 1.2 16v I had an expression before and I can say for sure the dynamiques are far better. The steering is more reponsive, the gears feel better, suspension feels stiffer, Climate control is wicked And the side repeaters are now clear...

You dont have to take the bumper off. The top part has kind of hooks on, unclip this (I used a massive screw driver to gentle un hook it) then just rag the bottom bits out!

You can buy the alarm from renault for £170! so is you know anyone who is good at fitting alarms then it could be a cheap option
