how does the launch control work... holds the revs, you bring the clutch up and it moderates the power for the best start?

need one of these for my house... reception is crap outside, want to try an external ariel... anyone know any good ones

dab the resin on with a brush pushing it into the fibres, dont brush it on, or the brush will mess up the fibre mat.

you should have a warrenty for any work done at the service, so if there are any problems caused by either defective parts or bad workmanship on your new brakes you should have some comeback on the garage. i dont think the A/C could be causing the lack of power really, cant tell the difference...

i dont get why people are saying theres no difference, it has a completely different suspension setup. they must have put some time into making and testing it so that it works well! so its got air con, all modern cars have! renault have to live in the real world and give the public what will...

Its faster than a 182 cup, surely that is the point of the trophy, and seeing that renault have historically had success with hot hatches, 5 turbo, willy etc you cant blame them for fettling an already well recieved car! Perhaps tiff could beat a CTR now in a trophy!? :devilish:

surely they will have records of your conversations? ask them to review what THEY said before. also contact the insurance ombudsman (sp?) they should be able to help. theres loads of laws about descriptions of service, contractual agreements and whatnot that you will be able to get them on...

dont need it re-gassing. you can get an aerosol from halfrauds. you set it off and close the car with the air con running and it set to recirculate the air. come back in 10 mins and its gone through the system alternatively you can get a spray and a tube that foes down the air vents

my mate got hit and it was the other drivers fault. he had to pay his excess and got it refunded.

oh and as for handling of a 1.6 model... come on its going to be sh*t compared to a 172/182 beacuse its not a renaultsport model... its just a day to day run about so dont expect too much!

dont bothwer with a 1.4 i own one and its w**k 1.6 all the way.... i convinced a 1.4 16v would piss on my 1.4 8v by a fair amount and having driven my mates 1.6 16v focus i think that a 1.6 is the way forward. if you want cheap performance. in a clio as well which must weigh less than a focus...

get a 1.4 then youll be glad when the 75bhp overpowers the traction... dont rag it so hard... i must admit its a hard liefe when youve got so much power im glad my engine is so sh*t
